★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Trapped a semi-feral ("Buddy") for neutering and arrived at 6:50 am before the hospital opened at 7 am. (They allow 3 ferals in a trap per day at 7 am without an appointment.) There were about 15 people in line outside the door. Once inside the door, when the hospital opened, everything proceeded quickly and was very organized. The staff was efficient and friendly. The hospital had only been open for 3 weeks as Haven Animal Hospital, which was even more impressive that everything was so organized. The lobby/waiting area is very spacious and attractive. When I picked the kitty up at 4 pm after his procedure, again, everything went smoothly. The kitty had a head wound when I brought him in. I was informed that the vet looked at it and said it was full of cactus stickers/spines. They cleaned the wound and put antibiotic ointment on it. The kitty stayed 2 nights recovering in a cage with a litter box in our garage, safe and warm with all the food he could eat. He is now back in our neighborhood, being fed by various neighbors, having the best life we can give him, hopefully happier because he is neutered. Would highly recommend Haven Animal Hospital.
May 01 · Theresa B.In my opinion, stay away if you truly care about your pet. Unprofessional, doesn't listen to all concerns and can't even fill a bottle of medicine appropriately. I need to find another Vet.With appointment, 2 HOUR WAIT to see the vet. Vet was nice but completely unprofessional.1st thing, had to take voice notes on her phone 🤷🤯?? Maybe mediocre? The vet proceeded to examine my animal and answer my concerns. In the 15 minutes the vet and tech was in the room, the vet did not answer all my concerns, she had to be reminded by me of issues that I explained to the tech. And still did not answer all of my concerns. After they received the stool sample, vet prescribed meds. Now, to help with an issue, I had them not only do a sanitary clip but decided to have my animals nails clipped while there. I was given a typed list of what they were doing and how much.Once I glanced through the itemized list (WHICH YOU NEED TO BE AWARE OF AND READ THOROUGHLY and in my opinion NOT sign until you personally check your animal after) I signed and waited for everything to be done.Sanitary clip, the tech and I talked and verified on several occasions to have the anus shaved and a little bit taken off on the back of the legs (my animal was having diarrhea issues and having a sanitary clip made it easier to clean her up) After she was done, she showed the result and I did not inspect close enough but said fine. After, received medication went homeOnce I released my little monster (Kitten) I was taken a back and noticed that the tech that did the clip shaved a 1/4"- 1/2"of the bottom of her tail off!? I looked at the bill and was FLOORED ($52 Sanitary Clip and an extra $24 for her nails to be clipped) WHAT!? Then, to top it all off the medication. The vet explained I'd have enough to give her in excess. Well, when I went to give my animal the medicine, I was only given an 1/8 of the bottle of medicine! This is supposed to be .07mm 2 times daily for 1 week. As you can see, barely enough for possibly 1 day maybe 2 day at the most.Called, voiced my concerns. Held for 15 minutes to talk to tech, no answer.Called back, talked to Karen, voiced concerns. Had me email pics of medication bottle and said will call back asap. We will see. After stool sample results, I will NEVER be taking my animal back here again. Seriously, what kind of people do they hire here? I am completely disappointed and disgusted by this vet. This is one customer you will never do business with again. Be warned, find another Vet, I sure as hell will.Just my $.02
August 06 · James NidaThis was my first time at this clinic. I adopted a puppy from Haven animal shelter. She is 11 weeks old and this was my first vet visit. It was complementary. I enjoyed the whole experience. The clinic is very clean. The staff is very friendly. The actual veterinarian seemed like she cared about my puppy. I'll update this as I go back for more visits. That actual cost of your visit would be $69 which I think is a little steep. Like I said my visit was complimentary. It was included in my adoption fee.
August 07 · Alex Bennett Von WaldI have been coming here for maybe a little over 6 years. I truly loved this place and would make a 40 minute drive going and back every month to take my dog as he receives a vaccine for his allergies.. but things have just gone down hill within the last 3 months. I’ve never had any issues, I don’t know if they changed doctors or what is going on but I have never in my years going been so disappointed. I’ve been scheduled an appointment and waited almost 2 hours and unfortunately had to leave because I had to go to work. Their app no longer lets me book appointments and whenever I try to call to make one or call for any question, the line keeps ringing and ringing and RINGING. It’s reached up to 7 minutes with no answer and I’ve just had to hang up. That has happened 5 times already. It’s been lack of professionalism on their end when it shouldn’t be this hard to get ahold of them when needed.. I’m just so sad because as I stated I loved going there but I will unfortunately have to find a new vet.
August 11 · Marianna ChavezI brought my kitty in for a routine vaccination and was greeted by friendly staff that took care of her immediately. I highly recommend Haven Animal Hospital. Kitty Talks A Lot had no complaints either. 🐈⬛
