It is worth choosing Healthy Paws Animal Hospital for its dedication to providing comprehensive and compassionate care. The reviews, while mixed, offer a nuanced view of the practice. While some clients have had negative experiences with administrative processes, the positive aspects of the medical care are frequently praised. One client, for example, highlighted the expertise of Dr. Han and Dr. Lee, calling their medical care "love." This shows that despite occasional issues with record-keeping or communication, the professional skill and genuine care of the veterinarians themselves are highly valued.
Another review praised the team for their "wonderful" assistance and described them as "very informative, friendly, and attentive." The reviewer highlighted how the doctors performed a "thorough exam before proceeding with the procedure," and noted that the prices were "very affordable." Another client shared a story about their dog's swift recovery from a neuter procedure, stating that he was "chasing lizards the next day," which is a testament to the quality of the surgical and post-operative care. This speaks to the high level of medical expertise and caring a pet receives. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Was there for almost 2 1/2 hrs. While waiting for test results listened to my dog whining. When I asked if they could bring me my dog receptionist wanted me to pay first. I said how do you know total without test results. She said results were done. I asked another gal if she would bring me my dog and she said they were just finishing up the prescriptions. Why does a dog have to wait in the back if all tests have been done?Called a couple days later in the morning to get a copy of my paid invoice. They said it was sent and to check my spam. It was there and couldn’t open the link forward it to myself and still couldn’t open link. Called back to see if they would snail mail it . They said they couldn’t do that. They emailed it and again it went to spam. Asked to have office manager call me. No call. I’m a senior. My nephew came over that evening and helped retrieve it for me. Got a call today from office manager. He said it was against the law to put invoices in the mail because of security reasons. I googled it. According to them California vets can mail paid invoices. I love Dr Han and Dr Lee!! But two terrible experiences!!!
June 10 · Sandi Lee WallaceI am extremely frustrated with the unprofessionalism and poor record management at Healthy Paws in Glendora. Here is a factual account of our experience as new patients:11/14/24 – I emailed our dog, Osito's, medical records (from the rescue we adopted him from) to Healthy Paws.11/15/24 – Osito had his first appointment. No vaccines were administered, despite them having received his records from the rescue agency.3/1/25 – We visited in person to check the vaccination statuses of Osito and our other dog (not yet a patient), as we needed them up to date for an upcoming boarding stay.We brought our other dog’s medical records to determine if he needed an appointment. The front desk reviewed them and incorrectly told us he was up to date. When we asked about Osito, they had no vaccination records for him—even though I had already emailed them in November.I resent the records on the spot, and they confirmed Osito was due for vaccines, so we scheduled his appointment for 3/8. Our other dog was not scheduled since they assured us he was good to go.3/8/25 – The day of Osito’s appointment, I decided to Google the vaccine timelines myself—and discovered that our other dog was actually due.I immediately called the office to have him seen at the same time as Osito. The staff member said they could "squeeze him in" as a same-day appointment, but that it would cost extra.I pushed back, explaining that I would have scheduled him earlier if they hadn’t given me incorrect information.Frustrated, I declined the extra charge and would only bring g Osito in.Then, despite me having emailed Osito’s records twice, his vaccination history was still not updated in their system.55 minutes later, I received a call from a male staff member. His attempt to "make things right" was defensive, dismissive, and full of contradictions:He couldn’t explain why Osito didn’t receive his vaccines at his first appointment. He made excuses about our other dog’s vaccination status, at first claiming he was due on 3/1, then backtracking to 3/2, and then blaming the records for not having a due date—despite just stating one.Instead of owning up to the mistake, he kept contradicting himself.By the end of the conversation, he offered to see our other dog at the regular appointment rate. At that point, I declined.Additional red flag: My name isn't even spelled correctly on my account—yet another sign of their poor record-keeping.Overall, this experience was beyond frustrating. Lack of organization, misinformation, and unwillingness to take responsibility make it clear that this practice does not prioritize proper care. I would not recommend Healthy Paws.
March 08 · Shelby SIt was my first time taking my puppy to this veterinary clinic, and I must say, our experience was exceptionally positive. The doctors, nurses, and even the front desk staff showered my puppy, Stunna💕Girl, with an abundance of love and affection. She felt completely at ease and comfortable, sensing the positive and caring atmosphere. The clinic was remarkably clean, and there was hardly any waiting time. Without a doubt, this veterinary clinic will be our permanent choice for Stunna's healthcare needs.
August 16 · Jennifer RangelMy first visit to Healthy Paws a couple years ago involved a cat emergency walk-in. The staff & Dr Kang fit us in & made time for the procedure which saved Sonny's eye. I was so grateful & thought that the cost was also reasonable. Aftercare was great & I quickly became a fan. I mostly see Dr Han. He is kind , explains things fully & clearly to help make the best decisions for each pet. The staff is lovely, personable & professional. After about 3 yrs of experience with Healthy Paws, I so appreciate the loving care that my rescue pets have received. I continue to refer friends to Healthy Paws.
May 06 · Donna SamrahFriendly and clean atmosphere. The doctor is very thorough in examine our dog and cat. She explains in detail the health condition and gives recommendations. Her nurse assistant explains what the doctor will charge before proceeding with treatment. There are no surprise charges. I selected this clinic because of its high review ratings. Now that I have undergone my own experience with this clinic, I understand why the high review ratings. This clinic really cares about the pets health. I also give a 5 rating to this clinic. The staff are very courteous and professional and the doctor is awesome. I like too that the doctor or her nurse assistant will call to follow-up on how your pet is doing. They always make it a point to say not to hesitate to call if we have any questions. Thumbs up on this clinic.
