Hillsborough County Veterinary Hospital Reviews
I appreciate everything about your services. The staff are welcoming and friendly and I have the sense of almost an old fashioned country vet. It is uncrowded, which makes my cats comfortable. There’s no waiting to get into into a room so no time for them to get nervous. But there’s nothing old fashioned about the expertise and services. They are up to date and knowledgeable and share that during appointments. Thank you.

Jun 16, 2025 · LisaWhen I took my new rescue dog Xena, who is a Pitbull to her first vet appointment, I was a little nervous because of her size and she looks scary, Yet…. she is as gentle and loving as the day is long. Dr. Jim Belanger and Vet tech Katie were fabulous. They were so thorough and so caring and gentle with her, I instantly knew I was absolutely in the right place with the right animal people. They spent a considerable amount of time with her, getting to know her and checking her out. I was more than satisfied, and I felt like I was Part of the team caring and loving this beautiful animal.
May 13, 2025 · Debbie GriseukMy girlfriend's Chihuahua was having some issues with her teeth and needed to have a few extractions done in order to relieve her pain. We scheduled with HCVH and they were able to promptly schedule both pre-op and surgery, and the entire experience was smooth and professional with an excellent bedside manner. Her pre-op visit was just to take some blood samples and to give her a general physical, whereas on the day of surgery she was dropped off in the morning and picked up by mid-afternoon. While she was expectedly dazed when we first got her, it became obvious that she was feeling better by the next day based on her appetite. The staff made sure we were all clear on what kind of post-op care she would need, what her medication schedule was, and what to do in the event that she had any complications, which she didn't.We've got one more dog with the same issue so we'll be back, and I would recommend this practice to anyone looking for great care for their fur babies.
