Hillside Veterinary Clinic – Auburn, MA | Central MA Vet Care Reviews
I took my cat in today for her annual exam. She gets so scared when she has to go that she makes herself sick (hyperventilating, shaking, drooling). The staff were great and really helped to reduce the usual trauma! They were very understanding and worked with us to help reduce her stress level. We both really appreciated the one on one attention to our needs.
Feb 20, 2025 · Sandi CarlsonSince Dr Detora is no longer there this place is more interested in billing than taking care of your pet. If your pet is ever in distress they will refuse to see you again and will also be quick to report you to Animal Control even if you are searching for treatment for your pet. The vet/s seem very disinterested. I have read other bad reviews and they are spot on. Because they would not see our dog we found Overlook Veterinary Clinic who give Master care. They have the foresight and facility to deal with a lot. Hillside have never recommended anything to help our dogs or put forth any type of true care and compassion for the pet or their humans.
Apr 08, 2025 · Abigail BaezTerrible place. Have brought both dogs and my older cats for years when needed. Today brought my newest cat, 8 weeks old, for a first check up. Had an appt at 1130, got confirmation even at 7am this morning, at 1230 still was not seen and walked out. Noone gave an explanation (emergency visits or what not etc). A lady came in 20 mins after me and was seen and gone before I left. They have no consideration for people's time or money! Have been a client for years and will not be back ever again. This was strick 3 for hillside I'm my book (past incidents not reported)I wish them the best but hope people look elsewhere!
May 30, 2025 · Alyssa MoranI cannot say enough great things about this office. We moved to Auburn about 2 years ago and have been going ever since. They are thorough with appointments and really acknowledge all your concerns about your animal. Our dog recently had surgery (I was a very nervous dog mama) and the staff was absolutely wonderful. We worked with Carina at drop off and pick up, and she was amazing. She was kind, caring, and extremely compassionate towards our pup. We have been treated with such kindness by all staff and really trust their expertise. Thank you Hillside for taking such great care of our boy!
Jun 15, 2024 · Lauren WissekerkeWe brought our animals here for years. We had to stop and move somewhere else due to the almost constant change of owners and the disrespect from the staff. I recently had a family member (who was still going there) go through a disheartening experience and was berated due to her honest review. I urge anyone thinking of going here to reconsider. Money is more important to them than the welfare of the animals and community. I also had a family member have to move to a different practice because he dog didn’t do well with vaccines, and they wouldn’t allow her in the room with him to keep him calm. They severely overmedicated the dog for vet visits and showed gross misconduct in their practices. Seek other vets!
