★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- I was very disappointed with the way I was treated by the receptionist today. When I called to reschedule, she was argumentative and dismissive, and when I decided to keep my appointment, she reminded me about a past “missed” visit in a rude way. I tried to explain that it had been a misunderstanding - as it was a drop-off appointment- but instead of listening, she cut me off, accused me of “twisting things around,” and rushed to end the call. When I called back to address her tone, she was again defensive and dismissive. I asked to speak to the manager, but she left me on the line and never came back. When I called again, she said there was no one I could talk to other than her or the doctor, who might not even respond for several days. This is not the level of professionalism or courtesy pet owners should expect when trusting a clinic with their animals’ care. - My husband and I chose to take our corgi to Hunter's Glen after research proved that Dr. Carley was one of the good ones. Since taking him there for his puppy shots and visits, each time we go back it solidifies for me that it is worth the 20 minute drive from our home. They will not perform tests, radiographs, or give unnecessary medication just to earn a buck! In this economy, that goes a long way. I cannot recommend him and his team enough, if you are looking for a new vet or just got your fur baby GIVE THEM A SHOT! March 06 · Mariah Seggebruch
- Dr. Carley is a wonderful vet and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I can't imagine taking my pets anywhere else! May 08 · Baylor Cox
- I gave this vet a chance after noticing my cat, Colby, had droopy ears and a head tilt, and the vet I planned to be a client for could not get me in within the week.I have nothing but praise for Hunters Glen, for working with my schedule and allowing me to drop him off to be seen right away.Dr. Carley is as great as the reviews make him out to be. He was kind, compassionate, and quickly identified issues with Colby that the previous vet did not notice 2 weeks ago. He suspects that the vet I took him to (VCA Woodland South on Memorial) is responsible for his ear mites, and Dr. Carley also made me aware that Colby's poor gums are inflamed all over.He walked me through several options and informed me of what this could mean long-term, and know what to expect if this does not heal. He even provided web articles for me to look into so I am properly aware of this serious condition and know what steps I need to take to mitigate the disease.I am grateful that I found this clinic and got the help I needed, and I am glad Dr. Carley was there to show what was really going on with Colby. The nurses there were also very kind and understanding. They could have just sent me home with the ear drops and left me to figure it out, but even after I paid and was ready to go, one of the nurses took me to a room to show me some tricks to get the drops properly applied to Colby. She really seemed like she cared and she handled my squirmy cat very gently. I will be back in a couple of months for a follow up.Thank you again Hunters Glen! September 28 · Kiki Brown
