★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- I just had my 4 kittens spayed here. Dr. Knewtson and the staff were very nice and my kittens are back home, happy. I am also grateful they did not enforce my kittens getting their rabies vaccines. August 20 · Cookee Durand
- Absolutely love this vet. My cat skittles (orange & black stripes) was in active labor but wasn't able to deliver. She was miserable but they helped her and she came back home thankful. They also neutered my fat boy Haru (black) So glad they were able to help. March 03 · Talitha Seelye
- The vet at this clinic is the worst I've ever seen. My dog died recently and I called to have her cremated. They I called he never mentioned an after hours fee, when I dropped my dog off and brought up the cost he didn't mention it. When they called me with a final price they had added on a $50 after hours fee. Then to show just how truly heartless this guy is he doesn't even give you an urn for your pet. They charged me $160 to cremate my dead dog and gave her to me in a brown paper bag!!! If your looking for a good vet who cares about your furry babies don't choose this place. - Very rude and condescending people... and VERY expensive. They charge $35 PER pet just to walk in the place, and they DON'T disclose this up front. I have 5 dogs and was going to take them all in for shots, flea meds, etc. Thank God I didn't or it would have cost me $175 just for the "privilege" of coming through their door.I ended up taking my 6 month old puppy to get spaded, rabies and parvo... almost $700!!! (I had the same thing done to my other females at a Vet in Chanute for less than half of what these rip-off artists charged.) I had to come back a few weeks later for the second parvo dose and it cost another $100+, including another $35 just to walk in... this is when I noticed the fee for the first time.A few months later one of my males started going after the (now) older spayed dog as if she was in heat... so I did some research online (since the Vet was closed when this first happened) and read that the female could still be giving off the scent even though she was spayed. This was odd because the male in question showed no interest in my other 2 females, and my other male showed no interest in the newly spayed girl. So I call the Vet, explained what was going on, and brought the dog in the next day. The old man (guessing he's the actual Vet, don't know), looked at the dog, said she wasn't in heat and he couldn't do anything else for me. I tried asking questiions and he insultingly suggested I look it up on the Internet.Needless to say I took my dog and left, and will NEVER return... and quite frankly, I'm amazed this place is still in business given their ridiculous prices and lousy customer service,I'd give them 0 stars if there was the option.Stay away from these people unless you enjoy paying twice as much as other Vets in the area AND unless you enjoy dealing with rude, condescending country bumpkins! - These people have been very patient with me. I often have many questions and have called several times about my kitten. I have special ordered my dog's food and they have worked with me make sure it was something my dog would eat. Recently took my fifteen-year-old dog out to have his claws clipped he didn't make a peep and it took them practically no time at all. I am very pleased with the Iola Animal Clinic. I stand by my earlier review this is a great clinic and veterinarian! October 13 · Lilo
