Keystone Veterinary Services Reviews
Dr. Petra has been very good with our animals (we have 4 cats). HOWEVER, during our last visit, my cat was prescribed 14 days of medication and his ears were also to be cleaned. I was shorted his medication (only given 1/2 of the dosage). I called and requested the remainder. I called and informed the receptionist. When I went back, they gave me the bottle and I was only given 1/2 AGAIN. This shorted my cat 3 days of meds. I called again and again told them of the issue. No apology - nothing. Furthermore, upon arriving home, his ears were still dirty. Even though we are satisfied with the Dr., we are unsure if we will be back due to the level of competency of the aids.
Jul 02, 2025 · Dawn HayesWe recently decided to reach out to this vet's office after our previous vet was no longer willing to help us with our 11 year old border collie who was dying of mast cell cancer. Our dog was doing wonderfully on prednisone for this cancer but our past vet wasn't willing to continue it due to our dog's liver enzymes being elevated so she begin to decline very fast to the point where I was going to schedule for her to be put down. Our dog was only declining due to the tumor becoming huge and inflamed and she was not able to walk. However, her appetite and overall self was not in poor condition. It was heartbreaking. I reached out to Dr. Collyer for an appointment to see if she could extend her quality of life on palliative care and she was wonderful to work with. She not only gave our dog more prednisone to make her comfortable and have a better quality of life, but she also gave us additional medications and herbs to help her. She explained that this not a cure but will hopefully extend her life and give her better quality of living and it has! She is back to walking and living life again. We know that we probably don't have much longer with her, but we are so happy to have some extra time with her and that she is no longer suffering from the size of the tumor. We were very pleased with the care she has gotten and we also love that Dr. Collyer offers in home euthanasia services as well.
May 07, 2025 · ashleypuskarich24When my primary veterinarian closed, I was scrambling to figure out which veterinarian would be a good option for my one Boxer who is timid and the other who is not a fan of strange dogs. Dr. Collyer's office is off the beaten path. It is quiet. The staff are absolutely wonderful and Dr. Collyer, she is phenomenal. Her attention to detail, her care for your pet, her dedication and devotion is hands down the best I have ever had. I was fortunate she was willing to accept my kids as patients and just feel blessed to have her!
