Lafayette Animal Hospital Reviews
We could not have asked for a better experience. From front desk, vet technicians to the doctors, everyone at this veterinary clinic is amazing. Kind, thoughtful, knowledgeable and understanding. They clearly laid out all our options, explained and answered all of our questions and had compassion in all they did. After a challenging and difficult situation with our new pet, that unfortunately had to be put down, the care and support was more than we were even expecting. Dr. Brown-Hendry was absolutely brilliant. The time and consideration she gave us was above and beyond. I cannot recommend them enough. They have shown all our animals and family so much love. We trust them explicitly. We will miss our little guy, but know he received the best care and all that was possible was done for him. To have a team so dedicated to the care of animals especially in such a difficult time makes the tough decisions feel less out of control. Our other pets are lucky to have this wonderful place caring for them. Thank you to your entire team.
Apr 25, 2025 · Kjersten BakerWe couldn’t be more pleased with the professionalism at Lafayette Animal Hospital. From our first call to schedule an appointment they did the legwork of calling our previous vets to get our dogs records. Our first visit with Dr. Abbott she was both thorough and compassionate. She explained everything and presented us with her plan for our allergy pup as well as going over the cost prior to charging us for anything. Follow up was equally as great with daily checks. Blue was definitely BLUE prior to his visit but after having his brother Chunk with him for moral support and sneaking kisses to the ladies he was immediately much more comfortable. So pleased with the care we’re receiving.
Mar 11, 2025 · K O’ReillyWe adopted a "farm boy" Bichon Frise from an Amish breeder in Ephrata, PA. It is so good having Dr. B who has "horse sense." She morphed into a country Doctor out of "All Creatures Great and Small" to treat our farm boy. Dr. B was astute to project our farm boy's pastoral origin and his pathological impact on our immune compromised SLO older dog, whom she is successfully treating. Also, Dr. B performed the cryptorchid surgery on our middle boy. The scar is indistinguishable from the surrounding tissue, and our Buckaroo boy has become a phenomenal hunter. It is comforting to entrust our family to Dr. B and her loving, compassionate, and talented support team. When I was young I asked my mother why she took me to Dr. so-and-so. Her answer was that he is compassionate and very capable.I intend for my little boys to have the same in veterinary care.I can report that Dr. B is outstanding in diagnostic veterinary medicine. She is a highly trained Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine alumni. I'm an old man, and I've been through several veterinarians in my life. I have not found a more capable clinician. Now, we know the soft skills of compassion, empathy, and caring can be referenced in text and classroom, but they are cultivated in life experiences. Everyone at Lafayette Animal Hospital manifests these skills, which is a great comfort.I'm happy to have found Dr. B at Lafayette Animal Hospital.

Apr 20, 2025 · Jenny SinclairShortly after Copper started coming to LA Hospital he had a sudden near death experience, and was suddenly diagnosed with Addison Disease, prior to that Copper had never had any illness or nothing in his entire life. But all of a sudden his life was drawing to end, and very quickly and suddenly right before our eyes with nothing we could do about. But Dr Brown-Henry after a battery of tests, and as everyone knows when we love our little four legged family members. We will do whatever it takes to help them out, and whatever the costs are too. DR Brown-Henry finally figured it out. And the entire staff was unbelievable from the very 1st time Copper met with Whitney and that very special bond that they made. Not to mention a little cheese whiz goes a long way. But the whole staff has always been very good with Copper and he feels very special there. We now go there once a month because of his Addison's Disease. But it is what is, and he is here to today because of Dr Brown-Henry, Whitney, Katey and the rest of the entire staff atLA Hospital!!!!!Thank you from Copper & Curt M
