Lake Katrine Animal Hospital Reviews
I understand I had an odd request to help a woodchuck I grabbed and placed in my car, that had obviously been hit and was just laying in the middle of the road, appearing to be suffering.. but I explained my situation to the receptionist, and she immediately turned me and the suffering animal away. Had an immediate attitude with me, zero help. I initially stormed out, but returned and asked to speak to the Dr., not her. He came out and actually explained to me that all they could really do was euthanize it. I said that's all I was looking for, as it was not reacting to much of anything, it even let me put it in my car. I told him I would take it to another wildlife facility if he thought it had a chance.. but said usually when they let you this close to them, it's not good. He took the woodchuck into the vet and stopped it's suffering. He also apologized for the receptionists behavior. So I thank the Dr. for his help, hence the 4 stars. Perhaps the receptionist should not work at an 'animal hospital' if she doesn't actually care about animals. No animal deserves to spend it's last moments suffering on the side of the road if we can help it.
May 22, 2025 · Michelle RoachThis is by far the best veterinary office I have ever had experience with. Today I had to have 32 teeth extracted from my Chihuahua’s mouth, and everybody involved was extremely supportive and helpful throughout the entire process. Dr. Cody did an amazing job with the extractions and following sutures. I received multiple calls throughout the day with updates. I was thoroughly explained all of my options, before ultimately deciding with Dr. Cody what was best for my furry baby. The final Invoice was less than the price they quoted me. 10 out of 10 would recommend!
