★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My boys have no complaints about Dr. Alice except when she uses that thing humans call a thermometer. Hmm we don’t like it. Otherwise, I the owner, say she is very intelligent and attentive. She gave a few suggestions regarding my sneezy boy. I appreciate going here.
March 29 · Jennifer HallbergI normally don’t feel compelled to leave a review but I had such an overwhelmingly positive experience here that I feel I should. When my kitten tested positive for FELV at a separate clinic I was determined to find someone who knew a lot about the illness so she could get the best care possible. Dr. Mills and her staff had information and options on hand that I hadn’t encountered with any other clinic. They were kind and respectful throughout the entire visit and above all gave my kitten excellent care. I will be returning to the Hospital for Cats for all future visits❤️ (picture of Sassy below just because)
July 25 · Brenna WallinWe finally found a vet who cares for our special cat just as much as we do, and treats him like the family member he is to us. The staff and Dr. Mills are AMAZING caregivers, and are there to provide whatever is needed to ensure your cat has the best quality of life. And that genuine care goes beyond just the in-office visit. Dr. Mills takes the time to write up what was discussed and provided during the appointment, as well as what you can do for your cat at home to ensure they live in a healthy environment. She also took the time to personally call us to discuss a health scare our cat potentially had, which ended in good news and relieved all of us beyond measure. And for that, we are extremely grateful and loyal to her and her sweet staff for years to come.
June 02 · Erin BowmanBEST veterinarian check up ever!!!My cat was so comfortable and relaxed while visiting Lexington Hospital for Cats. The facility is warm, welcoming and clean. Dr. Mills is extremely knowledgeable, caring and thorough. Her staff are friendly, caring and love cats. This is all around a great office to take your cats too. I drove an hour to go there and will continue to do so for Marbles, to be in the best hands.Thank you everyone at Lexington Hospital for Cats.
December 18 · Kym BI took my cat to this veterinary hospital because it was appealing and reassuring to see a place that specialized in cats. However, I was really disappointed in the experience we had.Dr. Mills came into our room with incredibly unsettling energy and seemed to be put out by our presence. Right away she was sighing and speaking to us in a frustrated and demeaning tone. She was extremely judgmental of everything we brought up including what food we give, what flea and tick medication we give, and what we had done to try and aide our cat's discomfort prior to the appointment. I take my cat's health extremely seriously and do as much research as possible to ensure she is fed and cared for as well as I can possibly afford. I was spoken to as if I was a neglectful owner who didn't know the first thing about my own cat.Dr. Mills also seemed incredibly unsure about everything she thought might be the cause of my cat's issues, and was extremely under confident in her treatment plan. She phrased everything like she thought it was the worst possible scenario and seemed to want us to expect the same. She prescribed a medication for my cat and then went on for several minutes about how she doesn't think that what she is giving us is a safe treatment plan for my cat and that there are horrible potential outcomes from giving it to her. I was in tears by the time the doctor left the room because of her utter lack of reassurance and her condescending attitude.Another thing worth mentioning, we received a pamphlet to take home describing the services they provide, and we noticed that they offer and DO NOT discourage declawing (as required by the AVMA). Any reputable establishment that specializes in cats should know better than to offer such a mutilating service. We are going to have to find a new place to take our cat.
