Large Animal Medicine and Surgery, PA Reviews
I live in WV and we have very few large animal pet veterinarian s. I have two potbellied pigs that I totally adore. I called this office in NC because I was desperate and did not know what to do. The fest girl immediately transferred me to a doctor. The doctor was very professional and helpful even after I told home I was from WV. He was very helpful and told me what I should do. I was so very appreciative that he took time out his busy day to me. God Bless Him Abundantly. The world still has good people in it.
Jun 16, 2022 · Drema BellNot very happy with their communication. I was told to come at 4pm and vet still wasn’t there by 4:40. I had to leave to get my kids and come back. When I got back the dr. had already done everything without consent and gave us a $480 bill. We don’t even know if our goat is going to be okay.Update, next day our goat died.
Oct 24, 2024 · Kayla ReiszelDr Gardner has always been reliable in helping us maintain our goat's health and going above and beyond to be helpful and communicative. However, Dr Michelle and Dr Porter knocked it out of the ballpark the other night when we came in at midnight with a goat in labor with a breached kid. While we couldn't save the baby, they were compassionate and thoughtful throughout the process and were able to save our girl, Skippy. They were also understanding of our budget and kept me informed the entire time. It was a rough night but Skippy is on the mend now and happily at home caring for her surviving kid due to the efforts of Large Animal Medicine and Surgery.
Mar 10, 2023 · j hwe had to put our oldest horse down late last night and Dr. Porter was the only of the 5 vets that agreed to help. she did a great job in helping us make the right decision and understand the process. Thank you guys for all your help and support.
Jun 23, 2021 · Kylee MageeWe lost our goat, but loved the way Dr macashin treated him and will be doing our vetting for the goats here. There wasn't anything that could be done that she wasn't willing to try. It was obvious she felt bad about the loss and she was super sweet to our billy. Her dad is also a vet there and offered his condolences. When I get over my sickness, I will be taking fecals up there, in our emergency we were glad we ran into her, she calls back super fast, and really explains things and is realistically honest, which we appreciated. Great large animal A++,Lauren and ed
