Laurel Hill Veterinary Service, Inc. Reviews
I would avoid this place. Took our dog there cause he was having trouble walking. They charged 500.00 and diagnosed him with having hip dysplasia. Couple days later he couldn’t walk at all. Paralyzed from the waste down. By the time we took him somewhere else it was too late, it was his back and we waited too long so he had too be euthanized. He was my best friend! Thanks laurel hill!
Jun 08, 2025 · Richard BelcherThe employees at Laurel Hill are always very friendly, polite and caring. From the doctor, to the techs, to the front desk ladies. They are caring and. Always get my 4 dogs in to be seen in a timely manor. My one dog is skiddish of fast movements and new people. Dr. Flora always takes her time with him and goes slow. She’s understanding and listens to what I have to say. I’m so grateful to have such a caring vet clinic in the area.
Jun 18, 2025 · Lauren SelleckOn 3/26 we were faced with devastation as we were watching our sweet rescue kitty's health rapidly decline. After watching her make it through the night, but still declining, we reached out to Laurel Hill Veterinary clinic to schedule an appointment and ultimately make one of the hardest decisions any pet owner eventually has to make. They were able to get us in the next day (3/28). The entire vet staff met us with kindness throughout the initial phone call and the entire appointment. They walked us through every step of the process and even said they would try to get an ink print of our baby's crinkly ear. Not one time did they attempt to push us to run more testing to make sure we were making the right decision (we knew there would likely be no coming back and ultimately would just be putting her through unnecessary testing to find out why we were euthanizing, rather than to just let her go peacefully). Our sweet pea was met with so much love from all of the staff who had never met her before and she gracefully was led over the rainbow bridge. We want to thank the vet staff for letting us take things at our pace and help us through one of the hardest decisions ever.
Mar 30, 2025 · Lilly SnyderI just got off the phone with them. I know im not a regular patient there, but my dog is having seizures. And the receptions said we don't have any appointments until Wednesday. Which I understand. But her attitude was not okay. I said thank you, and then she said just said thank bye and hung up real quick. No recommendations or nothing. Shower no care not even when i was explaining what was going on. Very quick to just not care.
May 23, 2025 · Ruthie MacbrineI moved to upstate PA from SC and was anxious to find a veterinarian since I'd been with the same one for 34 years. Dr. Wilcox has the most amazing examination technique I've witnessed. He is caring and so concerned about each pet he's seen. He was so sensitive when I had to put my Pyrenees Gabriel down. It hurt him almost as much as it did me. His staff is caring and very patient on each visit. He's not test crazy, and discusses each option as if it were his own animal. Highly recommend!
