July 21 · Richard SimpsonMy first time here, They were able to get me in the same day, which I really appreciate! My dog is my baby and I was super worried for her. They’re really nice people and give kind of family vibes which is nice. I def Recommend!
March 19 · Michelle GuerreroThey are amazing. Everyone was so kind and helpful!! They gave me a lot of information to help me with my animals. I was expecting a huge bill for the work that was done and was quite surprised when it wasn't. I feel like they are the best kept secret in East Texas.
May 10 · sheila petersonAfter hearing phenomenal local reviews we decided to give them a try.First visit was a wonderful experience, our chiweenie pup had a persistent baby tooth that didn't want to fall out even after the adult tooth came into place. I was able to get a surgery apt for him 2-3 weeks from the time I called and the price was much more affordable compared to other quotes I received. It even came out to be lower than the quote when I picked him up. 5 stars on price and care.Recently my husband had to get a medical procedure done so we returned for boarding for our 3 dogs. I came in a couple days early to bring all of their vaccine records. At the time I had asked if there was any charge for early drop off and was told no. We had a 6 hour drive so we opted to try and leave a little earlier in the day. I am very meticulous about preparing our dogs for boarding, packed the exact amount needed for the total feedings they would need, each dog had their own food prebagged and labeled with their name and own description (big old dog, black pup, brown pup) and then all their prebagged amount in their own larger ziploc bag. I let them know at drop off that one of our dogs was still new to us and very much a rescue. Our older dog had been boarded plenty of times and is always perfect but this was our 2 newest puppies first time boarding.Picked up our 3 dogs with the 2 kids in tow, on the ride home I started noticing some things were off, our rescue chiweenie regurgitated food all over me on the way home and once home was able to better look over things. Both puppies smelled very strongly of urine, but being chiweenies with small bladders I expected that and immediately bathed them when we got home. But noticed our newest rescue chiweenie had lost some significant weight, his spine and ribs were much more visible. I also noticed that we were infact charged an early drop off fee and that I was returned home with 7 baggies of food? There should have been no extras left since I packed the exact amount (two dogs had 2 baggies each and the other dog had 3 baggies). I reached out to the vet clinic regarding my concerns about the left over food and loss of weight. Management thoroughly checked with the employees and sincerely apologized. They said their records show they never missed a feeding but that things may have been miscommunicated and that one dogs baggie of food may have been split between all 3 dogs, which is not near enough food. Plus our senior is on a different food than the puppies. I mean to come home with 7 extra baggies of food is ridiculous, even though they "never missed a meal" on their weekend stay, that was not near enough for each of them to even be considered a meal. I am very meticulous and each individual bag was labeled on top of the larger bag for each of them being labeled. I filled out a form at check-in with their instructions and had another index card with instructions in their food bag. I am just so incredibly upset at how such an overlook could have happened. I mean literally everything was labeled. I feel awful for my pups, especially with this being their first time boarding, I don't want this to be what they expect whenever I have to board them again in the future. Them using one dogs food for everyone makes sense because my poor rescue pup has been regurgitating food up constantly all day (probably because he wasn't given the right food) and now with him being underweight I can't even feed him tonight with his upset belly. While I appreciate them looking into the matter and them offering a sincere apology, it doesn't fix anything and I don't consider this an appropriate remedy to the poor situation.I appreciate the great prices they offer on boarding but if this is how my dogs are going to be treated, it's worth paying more elsewhere.
