★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We live in the West Valley and tried to get an emergency appointment at our usual Lovet location because our dog had quite a bit of blood in his stools. While our location didn't have openings for almost a week or so, Fletcher Heights was able to accommodate us within an hour of our call.It was a bit of a drive, but well worth the trip. The vet was very attentive and put our dog on a treatment plan without pushing extra costs of blood work on us. She didn't think it was necessary. In the end, the treatment plan has been working and our dog has been doing well.We couldn't be happier with the service and care that we received at this location.
May 18 · M SVeterinary medicine is indeed a challenging profession, frequently involving both physical and emotional demands. These professionals exhibit exceptional compassion and skill in the care of animals. Their dedication to animal welfare is truly commendable as they remain composed when faced with difficult situations daily, always prioritizing the well-being of their patients. We deeply appreciate their unwavering commitment.
August 02 · Joshua SlankardLovet recently purchased our locally owned vet and since then the quality of service has gone downhill. The issues are mostly in the level of communication with staff which results in inadequate care for your pet. We’ve had issues ranging from staff telling us they would be open when they wouldn’t be or giving us incorrect medication directions with our pets. It just becomes too frustrating to receive quality care here. Will definitely be looking for a new vet to take our dogs too.
July 06 · Alana KurmayWe have been with Fletcher Heights Animal Hospital, now Lovet for 8 years. I absolutely trust the vets and their very able, understanding and caring front desk staff. I am always treated with respect and my dogs have received thee absolute best care from the team of vets. Tina, our groomer, also at Lovet is a master groomer. Simply put, an absolutely top notch vet clinic. 5 ⭐️
July 30 · Katie BatesI’ve been coming here for maybe 10-15 years. I had a cat who was 23 when he passed who I brought to this vet his whole life and when I had to put him down. I had a great experience everytime! That was 2 years ago.My mom has a corgi who she loves more than me. The corgi, piper, is 5 years old. My mom has also always used this vet office. Granted it’s been check ups here and there so nothing serious.I’m not sure if you have new staff or what has happened, but almost all of your newest reviews are at 1 star. And that’s for a reason. My mom noticed something wrong with piper and instantly brought her in. She had a vet who was a young woman, never a vet she’s had before. That’s okay! You’re the vet! You’re the one who’s gone to school and studied animals so we’re going to trust whatever vet we get. Right? My mom brought in her dog who was having very abnormal symptoms. She’s howling in pain while stiff as a board and peeing herself. It’s happening everyday, sometimes multiple times. She’s screaming in pain when we try to touch her. This vet we got told my mom to take her home and just let her heal. Or go to neurologist and spend $10,000 if you want. No urgency, never saying more or what it could be. Gave her gabapentin and said good luck. My mom was calling everyday with questions. She finally gets in with another vet a week or so later who thank god took my mom serious.MY MOMS DOG WAS HAVING CLUSTER GRAND MAL SEIZURES. MULTIPLE A DAY.And your “vet” blows all of this off? Doesn’t even care to mention seizures with all of her symptoms CLEARLY displaying every symptoms of seizure's in dogs.Thank god for the second vet who actually cared and seemed worried. My mom instantly got into the neurologist and they instantly started seizure medicine.Well because this went on for so long without this doctor acting worried and making my mom feel like she’s overreacting, her brain was too far gone. It was too swollen and angry to accept any of the medications. My mom laid with piper seizure after seizure covered in pee to have to rush her into emergency and have to say goodbye. My mom won’t tell me the name of the first vet because she knows I would be calling and writing several reviews.Piper is a pembroke corgi. A simple google search will tell you how common seizures are for them. Based on my details I’m assuming the vets will be able to tell who the first vet was.So to whoever the first vet was that took care of piper, please take your job more seriously. My mom just lost her bestfriend.
