For pet owners across Arizona, the well-being of our animal companions is a top priority. While we hope our furry friends stay healthy, we also know that emergencies and complex health issues can arise unexpectedly, often outside of normal business hours. When these critical moments happen, having a trusted, reliable, and advanced veterinary facility is not just a comfort—it's a necessity. BluePearl Pet Hospital in Glendale, Arizona, is a premier destination for exactly this kind of specialized care. Operating as a 24-hour emergency animal hospital, they are the vital resource for pets in need of immediate attention or highly specialized veterinary medicine. Unlike a traditional veterinarian's office, this facility is equipped with advanced technology and staffed by a team of highly trained specialists and emergency clinicians. They are prepared to handle a wide spectrum of urgent conditions, from traumatic injuries and toxic exposures to sudden complications from chronic diseases. The dedication of the staff is a recurring theme in the heartfelt testimonials from clients. One grateful pet owner recounted their experience with their cat, Lucky, who had a life-threatening urine blockage. The owner praised the "attentive, courteous, knowledgeable, and professional" staff, noting that they provided excellent care and kept them informed, leading to a full recovery. Another client shared an extensive and powerful story about their son's dog, Sancho, highlighting the team's professional protocol, compassionate care, and transparent communication, which ultimately led to a correct diagnosis and successful surgery.
The core of BluePearl's philosophy is not just about treating the pet, but also about supporting the entire family. They understand the immense stress and anxiety that comes with a pet emergency. As a result, they have protocols and amenities in place to make the experience as manageable as possible for the human family members. The stories of a compassionate staff, well-stocked waiting areas with coffee and cold water, and a system that keeps owners informed on their pet's status reflect a level of service that goes above and beyond, solidifying their reputation as a leader in veterinary emergency care in Arizona.
BluePearl Pet Hospital is conveniently located at 20165 N 67th Ave, Glendale, AZ 85308, USA, making it a critical hub for pet owners throughout the Northwest Phoenix area, including Glendale, Peoria, Sun City, Youngtown, and Surprise. July 18 · C W MaccIn May I was tasked with caring for my son’s corgi mix, Sancho, that he rescued last year. My son is active duty military and his duty station changed to an overseas location. After about six weeks of bonding with Sancho we noticed him not acting normally. I immediately took him to my vet and they drained 300 ml from his bladder but could not find a blockage. They sent him home with a catheter as it was July 2 and they would be closed the 4-6. On the 3rd he pulled it out while eating because it was the only time he didn’t have on his e collar. I took him back and he got another. But July 4 I noticed it was not draining and it was out a small amount. I took him to Blue Pearl right away knowing it would become a life threatening event if he couldn’t urinate and we were day one into a 3 day holiday weekend. The staff at Blue Pearl was amazing from the start. They have a truly professional protocol and even though he wasn’t emergent they kept him comfortable and put him on a screen I could see in the waiting area. The compassionate staff starting with Rhiannon at the front desk and Nick, the vet tech, made sure to check in as they dealt with people’s beloved pets in order of urgency. It is nice knowing they understand. When it became apparent Sancho would need his bladder drained again they gave me several options. While I waited in the clean waiting area well stocked with coffee, cold water and vending machines I was able to watch on the monitor to see where he was in the queue. Dr Benally helped navigate the best solution for Sancho and Cayla helped find best option for the financial burden - they understand! Edie at the front desk worked with me and understood that my son was several time zones away and even spoke to him on the phone in order to keep everything moving. Together were able to come up with a solution that allowed Sancho to be correctly diagnosed with a stone and treated. They always included me in the process! He was able to have the surgery and recover within 24 hours rather than keeping him through the holiday only to have my vet refer me back to them for surgery costing us time, money and undue stress. Dr. Landskov performed the surgery overnight and called right away with updates. Cayla (especially amazing) also called to be sure I had all the information. When I went to pick him up Dr. Gibson came out and talked to me and gave me the option of receiving my post op paperwork via email so I could take him home right away. They are so absolutely slammed with immediate tasks but they never make you feel rushed and always listen even to the banal chatter of a stressed pet owner. Cayla carried him out to the car for me and showed me how to be mindful picking him up with the staples in his belly. It’s a long story with a happy ending. I will be forever grateful to Blue Pearl especially the amazing Doctors, Vet Techs and support staff at the Arrowhead location in Glendale, AZ!!
July 06 · Whitney EvansI was very pleased with the staff, the cleanliness of the lobby and rooms, and the coffee bar and snack machines helped while they cared for my dog. While I was there from about 9:30PM til about 4AM, they kept me informed about her condition and treatment regularly. They treated her kindly as well as me. Even the overnight security guard was nice and accompanied me outside with Lexi during an interval for her potty break. When done with her initial exam I was given 2 treatment options, a “best”, and a “minimum safe”, which was less expensive. I heard them offer a more ill client 3 options. While they required payment before continuing (I chose “best”), I have a pet emergency insurance plan, so I wasn’t worried about the cost. All the treatment was explained thoroughly and printed out as well so I could easily file a claim. I highly recommend Blue Pearl Pet Hospital!
July 30 · Linda SchusterI was referred to Blue Pearl by my cat’s primary vet. Louie (male cat) had a mass discovered in his lung. Dr. Linny offered a consult and we elected to do surgery that day. All of the staff were amazing and compassionate. I got to visit Louie several times during his overnight stay. The care he received was great. The surgery was successful, the mass benign, and Louie’s recovery was quick was uneventful.I’m very thankful for Dr. Linny, Edie, Aurora, and all the staff at Blue Pearl.
May 20 · Scooter PirtleExcellent staff. True emergency team, stepped right up & took care of my dog. Everyone was wonderful, so nice, so helpful.
