MaxFund's ethos is built on the belief that every animal deserves a second chance, regardless of their past or their owner's financial situation. This philosophy translates into a veterinary clinic that prioritizes the well-being of the animal above all else, offering viable treatment options and unwavering support. For Denver residents, this means having access to a veterinary partner that combines medical expertise with a compassionate heart, ensuring that financial constraints do not compromise the quality of care their pets receive.
MaxFund Veterinary Clinic is conveniently located at 1000 Inca St, Denver, CO 80204, USA. This address places it in the heart of Denver, making it highly accessible for residents across various neighborhoods, including the downtown area, Lincoln Park, Baker, and surrounding communities. Its central location facilitates straightforward travel for pet owners, which is particularly beneficial during unexpected health emergencies or for regular appointments.
Being part of the larger MaxFund Animal Adoption Center, the clinic is well-integrated into a known community hub dedicated to animal welfare. While urban locations can sometimes present parking challenges, the accessibility via major city streets helps manage this. The clinic operates on an appointment-only basis for exams, which helps manage patient flow and ensures that each pet receives dedicated attention without unnecessary rushes, as praised by a client who felt un-rushed and heard.
MaxFund Veterinary Clinic offers a comprehensive range of veterinary services, deeply committed to providing essential care that is both high-quality and accessible. - Diagnostic Services: They run various tests to diagnose illnesses quickly, as demonstrated by a client whose cat's issue was found quickly after tests. This includes blood work, urinalysis, and fecal exams.

MaxFund Veterinary Clinic distinguishes itself through several outstanding features and highlights, reflecting its unique non-profit model and deep commitment to animal welfare, which resonate strongly with the Denver community.
- Non-Profit and No-Kill Philosophy: As a true non-profit, no-kill animal shelter and adoption center, MaxFund's primary mission is to provide medical care for injured and abandoned animals and find them homes. - Affordable and Fair Pricing: This is a consistent highlight in customer reviews. Clients praise MaxFund for offering "fair prices" and not trying to "upsell anything." This makes quality veterinary care accessible to a broader range of pet owners, preventing situations where financial constraints dictate a pet's health outcomes, as powerfully demonstrated by Luna's story where care "could never have afforded such care anywhere else."
- Compassionate and Caring Staff: The veterinary team is consistently described as "super gentle" with pets, "kind," and genuinely caring about animals. This compassion is evident even during stressful situations, with staff making clients feel un-rushed and understood.
- Clear Communication and Options: Vets at MaxFund are praised for explaining everything clearly and providing various treatment options, allowing pet owners to make informed decisions without feeling pressured. This transparency is highly respected by clients.
- Proactive Follow-Up: A notable highlight is their unexpected follow-up calls days after a visit to check on the pet's recovery, demonstrating a genuine concern for the animal's ongoing well-being.
- Clean and Odor-Free Environment: The clinic is noted for being "clean and didn’t smell like other animal places," contributing to a more pleasant experience for pets and owners alike.
- Dedicated to Saving Lives: Luna's story vividly illustrates their dedication to saving lives, even when faced with dire diagnoses and financial limitations. Their willingness to work with clients and provide intensive outpatient care highlights their commitment to giving animals a "second chance."

MaxFund Veterinary Clinic Reviews
My cat got really sick out of nowhere and I rushed her to this vet clinic. They saw us fast and were super gentle with her the whole time. The vet explained everything clearly and didn’t make me feel rushed or dumb for asking questions. They ran some tests and found the issue quick. I liked that they gave me options instead of just pushing the most expensive treatment. Prices were fair and they didn’t try to upsell anything which I really respect. The clinic was clean and didn’t smell like other animal places I’ve been. Staff was kind and they even called two days later to check on her which I didn’t expect. She’s feeling way better now and I’ll be bringing both my pets here from now on. Good vets that actually care about animals and not just money are hard to find.
Jul 03, 2025 · Bradley JohnsonIn late December, my daughter’s cat, Luna, was given a slim chance of surviving beyond a month without hospitalization. We raised some funds on GoFundMe, but it was not nearly enough to cover the expenses. The veterinarian at VCA provided me with a list of places to contact, and MaxFund was the first to respond. They scheduled an early morning appointment to assess Luna.Unfortunately, they reached the same conclusion: Luna was suffering from kidney disease. At only three and a half years old, we were shocked by the diagnosis. However, the staff at MaxFund did not give up on her. They arranged for us to leave her there to receive IV fluids for the rest of the day. Over the next three days, we dropped her off and picked her up for fluids, medication, and tests. Thanks to their care, her kidney values returned to normal. They prescribed renal care cat food and provided us with a course of medication to give her. Three months later, Luna has gained weight and is thriving. While we know she may not live as long as an average cat, these wonderful people truly saved her life. We could never have afforded such care anywhere else, and we are forever grateful. We actively encourage everyone to donate to this amazing organization.
Apr 08, 2025 · Josephine RichardsonThe Maxfund Vet Clinic specifically has always been great. On my most recent visit, Dr. Rope and the rest of the staff were super thorough, gentle, and friendly as always. They are more affordable and I really appreciate the time they spent with us to explain our dogs condition and explore options. Thank you all for all the good work you do for mine and other animals.
May 15, 2025 · Charlotte N.Max Fund Vet Clinic is the best!!! We’ve been going here for 1.5 years and everyone has always been great but today Vet Tech Diana and another tech were able to trim my very difficult dog’s nails even though my dog hollered at them the whole time!! They were so patient and very skilled at what they do! Also, Emily and Mercedes at the front desk are so kind. Today I watched as Emily helped some other pet owners and she was so reassuring and gentle. I can’t speak highly enough of all of the doctors and staff here!
Apr 28, 2025 · Megan TThey are kind and affordable.Could have been more thorough with discharge instructions.Such a busy office! They said they would make a correction/adjustment to my dog’s weight— which would have brought down the cost, but they didn’t.Since it was so much cheaper than the Vet for neutering, I just let it go.
