Merrimack Animal Hospital Reviews
I have nothing but appreciation and trust in this place. I can not tell you how many times the veterinarian has took us in last minute and made sure we get our babies treatment ! One of my cats is very territorial and doesn’t like strangers at all so when I come here I know it’s going to be a show haha but Dr. Mian is always to the rescue even with her craziness. I genuinely do feel safe and comfortable when I come here. I get nothing but great treatment from Sherri, who can sure calm you down and make you laugh haha and Dr. Mian, who says it like it is and doesn’t sugar coat things, which I do appreciate! As far as prices go, I don’t find it to expensive. Honestly depends on what you have to get done. I can’t and won’t compare to other places because I have never been anywhere else !Ps. I know Dr. Mian and Sherri are going to laugh and be shocked at how my baby cheesecake is so laid back and calm at home 😂😂😂❤️
Oct 27, 2024 · Bruna BrancoWe had to get our lab mix "fixed". So far so good. Everyone here is kind and the doctor knowledgeable. Prices are reasonable to our expectations.
May 15, 2021 · Mrs. McCorryThe staff here are great! I love that I can call with quick questions and get a fast answer and that appointments are always easy to schedule
Mar 05, 2025 · Jenna HardingSherry is the best receptionist ever. I hate to leave less than a 5 star review because overall, they are fantastic if you just need a regular checkup and yearly/monthly meds. Yes they are expensive compared to others but they will keep track of your animal and their shots and that is great!“Hospital” is definitely a stretch - if your animal needs urgent care, do not take them here. Even if it’s a small issue that is irregular, do not take them here. I was concerned about a growth near my dog’s anal glands, thinking maybe that was the issue. Nope. It was a cyst that needed to be drained. The Dr dame into the room and asked me to hold my own dog, while the assistant (which I believe was Sherry) instructed me how to properly lift her leg to get the best angle. Once I, her dad, calmed her down, they incised a 2 inch cut. Blood went everywhere. I left with blood on my shirt and pants and I cannot stand the sight of blood but that’s my dog and I needed to care for her. As for aftercare, they showed her with a topical antibiotic and told me to report back. They did not even recommend a cone or a cone type alternative and she licked it back open constantly. The growth has still grown back and I don’t feel comfortable spending the amount of money I have for the care that I am receiving.
Mar 16, 2024 · Skylar KergilDr. Mian came to the rescue when my doggie was showing signs of heart failure. He was kind enough to promptly return my call and agreed to open his practice on an early Sunday morning to treat my sweet girl. He was able to stabilize her with the best of care. I decided to switch back to using Dr. Mian after going to a ‘commercial’ operated practice because I know how much Dr. Mian cares about his patients and also doesn’t try to upsell unnecessary testing and procedures like the others do.My dog lasted another 2 ½ years after he saved her and just had to put her down this week at the age of 17 ½. I will be forever grateful that Dr. Mian was able to extend my sweet girls life and was also there to help her cross the rainbow bridge in the most peaceful way. He is truly a caring and compassionate Vet, don’t let the negative reviews sway you. Rest easy my sweet little Punkin
