Mobile Pet Doc Introduce
Introduction / Overview
For pet owners in Virginia Beach, the thought of loading an anxious pet into a carrier, enduring a car ride, and navigating a bustling clinic waiting room can often be a source of considerable stress – for both the pet and the owner. Mobile Pet Doc offers a revolutionary and highly sought-after alternative to traditional veterinary visits. As its name suggests, Mobile Pet Doc brings professional, compassionate veterinary care directly to your doorstep. Location and Accessibility
While Mobile Pet Doc operates as a mobile veterinary service, meaning the "location" is primarily at the client's home, their base of operations is listed at 1728 Virginia Beach Blvd STE 115, Virginia Beach, VA 23454, USA. This central Virginia Beach address indicates their commitment to serving the broad Virginia Beach area and potentially surrounding communities. The primary benefit of a mobile veterinary service, however, lies in its inherent accessibility. Rather than pet owners having to travel to a physical clinic, Mobile Pet Doc eliminates this barrier entirely. This is an immense advantage for individuals with limited mobility, those with multiple pets, or pet owners who simply prefer the convenience of in-home services. For pets that become highly anxious or stressed during car rides or at a traditional clinic, the mobile service removes these triggers, leading to a much calmer and more effective examination. This on-demand, personalized service redefines accessibility in veterinary care for the Virginia Beach community, making professional medical attention available where it's most comfortable for your pet: at home.

Mobile Pet Doc Reviews
What an amazing experience! I have a 12 year old shepherd mix and going to the Vet was always an extremely anxious event for both of us. She needed to be muzzled because she's incredibly reactionary with huge anxiety issues made worse with medication designed to calm. Her hearing started to go this summer and she became very visually dependent on me or family/friends. I had to take her to the Veterinarian in December and when they took her back for her examine, (she couldn't see me anymore) my Kharma girl made the most horrifying heart wrenching crying I've ever heard from a dog. I started balling my eyes out and swore to my old lady dog that she would never have to experience that trauma again.I found Dr. Mckendry online and set up the appointment after reading great reviews. My Kharma girl was apprehensive about getting into the van at first, but peanut butter treats offered by them helped and the fact that she could see me and I could touch/ talk to her the whole time, made the exam SO much less stressful! They were so patient with us and Kharma did not make 1 sound. Not even a whimper. (We even took blood!)Absolutely the best Veterinary exam ever and I highly recommend them!

May 22, 2025 · Wendy BarschowI have a GSD with leash reactivity. A visit to vet's office was very stressful for me and the dog. This mobile team did an awesome job. The team arrived on time. There was no reactivity. Everything was conducted gently, slowly and professionally. I definitely recommend this service.
Apr 25, 2025 · Daniel ByrdMy 11 year old cat has never liked vet offices and when we have gone in the past you'd think there was a cougar in the patient room. Dr. Melissa McKendry and her team took excellent care of my cat with patience and understanding. Excellent follow up with test results. I've already recommended to friends!!
Mar 12, 2025 · mlmccaw70Everyone I've come in contact with at Mobile Pet Doc has been incredible. I had a dog that had bad hips and couldn't get in the car anymore. I found them and they came and did a thorough evaluation. He was older and had a lot of problems but he still had some spunk. They supported him, and me, until the time came to say goodbye. I'm now using them for my younger dog and her first visit they answered a lot of questions I've had for years regarding skin issues. Love, love, love them.
