Mar 06, 2025 · Harvey BettsI recently had to take my fur baby to the vet due to issues with his left eye, and I wanted to share my experience with Animal Eye Care. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. They immediately assessed the situation and helped me understand what was going on with my pet's eye. The veterinary team was patient and explained all the treatment options clearly, which made me feel confident in the care my pet was receiving. After a thorough examination, they provided a treatment plan that addressed the issue promptly. The follow-up care was just as exceptional, and I'm happy to say that my fur baby's eye is much better now. I truly appreciate the expertise and compassion that Animal Eye Care showed. I highly recommend them for anyone dealing with eye issues for their pets.
Mar 18, 2025 · ŔâɲḍịIt was worth the almost 5 hour drive (each way) & every penny to have my dog's sight restored. There are many other canine opthamologists, but, when it comes to retinal repair, I wouldn't go anywhere else.
May 29, 2025 · B ZWe would like to thank Dr. Nadelstein and his team for seeing our little 2-year-old girl here in Virginia Beach. We drove from Bella Vista, Arkansas to see Dr. Nadelstein. We knew it was a slim chance of our little one regaining her sight, but wanted the BEST for her and we knew this was the place to bring her. Unfortunately, Dr. Nadelstein gave us the news we were afraid to hear, but we knew it was a honest and most of all caring diagnosis. Dr. Nadelstein performed every test to find that bit of hope we were looking for, but unfortunately it just wasn't there. It was a retinal issue from birth that caused CocoPuff to not have her eyesight and this team of experts helped us identify this. Again, we could not have been in better hands and we greatly appreciate Dr. Nadelstein and his clinic for the outstanding and caring service rendered to us. Highly recommended and a huge thank for assisting us with our little CocoPuff. Thank you so much, Laura Weatherspoon and John Tipton
May 18, 2024 · John TiptonUpdate! Bones went for one of his many checkups yesterday with our primary eye doctor (ulcer issues) and we were informed that he has dazzle and menace response in BOTH eyes now that the right ulcer has healed up. His eyesight is not what it was. But it’s enough for close range, we don’t have to tap on his food bowl for him to find it, and he can easily retrieve toys.We can’t thank Dr. Nadelstein enough for how quickly he took our case and for his willingness to attempt a Hail Mary for Bones. While we won’t know the outcome of Bones’s surgery for a few weeks to even a month or more… We know that he was in the best of hands during the surgery. We are super grateful that we were able to secure an appointment so quickly given the delicate nature of retinas.Dr. Nadelstein is SUPER nice and he does such a great job describing what he is seeing going on with the eyes/retinas. I appreciated him being very upfront with all the of the things that are working against Bones for this surgery to be successful. Not only did he answer all my questions… I forgot one and he knew what I was going to ask. Obviously knows his stuff! The office staff was also top notch. You can tell they enjoy the work they are doing for the fur babies.Even if things don’t go the way we hope, there are absolutely no regrets and we know that we made the best decision by taking him to Animal Eye Care.
