Northwoods Animal Hospital Reviews
We have taken all of our pets to Northwoods for the past 24 years. The care they get is beyond great! This practice is, by far, the best place to take your pet! When my brother visited us from out of town, he had to take his dog here and said he wished the vet he had at home was half as good as Northwoods. Couldn't recommend them more!
Jan 15, 2025 · Lisa ParkerI'm pleased with Northwoods animal hospital. They're very kind and patient, they made me and my 2 chowchows feel very comfortable during their yearly checkup. Last year we saw Dr Chappel he's great , and this year we saw Dr Hudson she's amazing too. Both of them have been very helpful and answered many questions I had. I didn't feel rushed, the opposite they both encourage to answer any doubts. The staff was very helpful , polite and professional offered treats so my dogs would be less stressed during blood samples and vaccines.I Will be recommending this place to friends.:)
Mar 19, 2025 · Aline DuranThe veterinarian Here needs to chill out and not be so condescending when an older dog gains 4 pounds in two years. There’s no need to say that you can “see the cheese on the dog”. I didn’t come here so you can accuse me of “babying my dog with food”. Be more professional and not lecture your customers like they’re beneath you. That being said supporting staff is very nice here.
Sep 16, 2024 · Shannyn BurnsI have been a loyal client of Northwoods for over 20 years, trusting them with the care of multiple pets throughout the years. However, my recent experience was nothing short of heartbreaking and has completely shattered my trust in this clinic.I had to make the incredibly difficult decision to have my dog euthanized. Instead of being met with compassion and support, the entire process was impersonal, clumsy, and unprofessional. The doctor seemed unaffected by the emotional weight of what was happening. My 16 year old dog deserved a peaceful and dignified end, but the experience was anything but.
Aug 20, 2024 · Suzi MoranThe entire staff, from the receptionists, to the techs and the Doctors are all amazing! They are all knowledgeable and caring towards your fur babies! I love knowing that my kitties are so well cared for at every visit! Pickles and Olive appreciate the continuous excellent care!
