NYC Veterinary Specialists and 24 Hour Animal Emergency - Queens Reviews
This is one of the hardest reviews I have ever written, but I need to spread the word about this amazing emergency veterinary. Unfortunately, after celebrating Christmas Eve with my family, I got home to finding my amazing cat under the couch. At the time, he seemed stuck under/in the couch. I immediately tried to remove him and called this emergency vet to see if they were open. I spoke to a very nice man over the phone who was calm and helped walk me through what to do. I then rushed him over there and was met by the vet Heidi and Dr. Chou (unsure of spelling). They treated Tito (my cat) and me with gentleness, love and support. They immediately gave me a few options regarding his urgent care. They also kept me up to date on his progress and status. They took time and care into learning about Tito and his history. Heidi and Dr. Chou were extremely sympathetic and went over all of my options. They were extremely honest and explained what they could do for him. They were extremely patient, genuine and truly cared about my well-being as well as my cat, Tito. They gave me space with my family and allowed me to take as much time as needed to make the decision that was best for me. I cannot thank Heidi, Dr. Chou and secretary/other staff for their love and support!
Dec 27, 2018 · COLLEEN KEATINGI’m only writing this review to inform others that these are not the only google reviews for this vet care facility.. Search for “Blue Pearl Veterinary” and you will find many, many more poor reviews that outline the multiplicity of issues (in great detail) that this Veterinary office has. Customers complain on being vastly overcharged, improper prognosis, improper treatment, etc. Now, when I read reviews I expect there to be a few poor reviews, but when you find the other google review list of this place, you’ll find DOZENS of unsatisfied pet owners. I decided not to go thru with my appointment today, for very good reason. Make sure you take a look at ALL the reviews on google for this place. The 3 seen here are only the tip of the iceberg. If this isn’t an indicator of how poorly they operate, I’m not sure what else would. Make sure you search for “Blue Pearl Veterinary” to read the real reviews for this place. My guess is they made a separate listing on google (what you’re looking at now) to try and HIDE the truth behind their practice. Shame! Shame! Shame!
Jul 13, 2020 · Jake TaylorSimilar to the review posted the month before, yes this is a business also under the name “Blue Pearl.” This is legitimately false advertising considering that’s not the name of the practice?! And yes, it is true. They vastly overcharge & the bedside manner of an EMERGENCY HOSPITAL is despicable. They’re rude and severely understaffed. Please, if you love your pet, do not take them here.
Aug 21, 2020 · Caitlin McDonaghrip off- scheme you into larger bills and procedures than needed- total hit or miss depending on who is on call-if it's their permanent staff with cards printed at the front lookout for ridiculous fees but if its someone rotating out of the clinic then they are more honest and reasonable. based on two separate experiences for both of my cats. save yourself and go somewhere else if you can!
