A Animal Clinic of Queens Reviews
If you really want the best care for your pets then I would never go anywhere else , the employees and doctors here are truly the most considerate and great people. They always work with me to get me an appointment as soon as possible and they always do a great job with my pets. The young lady Veronica is the best she’s always helped me and has always made sure I was okay even after my appointment when I haven’t received the best of news she makes sure to explain every detail and ask how me or my pet is doing and usually businesses don’t care and that means a lot when things don’t turn out the best for your pet. Dr Thomas is amazing at his job. If you want people who care and are really good at there job then this is the place to go. Thank you to the doctor and employees here for always taking care of my pets like they were there own.
Sep 15, 2024 · Daniel SmithReview is for Dr Kwasnik, as that’s the only veterinarian I’ve been receiving services from at this clinic. He is not only an amazing professional, but also a caring and compassionate human being. I would not trust anyone else with my cats. When one of my cats was only a kitten, during a routine check-up Dr Kwasnik informed us he appears to be suffering from heart defects and that we should cherish the time we have with him, as it may not be long. As difficult as it was to hear, we were grateful, since it gave us time to prepare for the inevitable. The cat was seen by another vet once afterwards, when Dr Kwasnik was unavailable, whom find nothing wrong- however it was Dr Kwasnik’s life prognosis for my cat that turned out to be true. Dr Kwasnik has provided us with an exceptional care all throughout my cat’s 10 year-short lifespan, especially towards the end. Dr. Kwasnik is that kind of a doctor, who won’t hesitate to give you a late call to check on the patient or squeeze a last minute appointment when emergency happens. He will work with you to come up with a best treatment plan for what you can afford. The only negative aspect of visiting a great specialist is that they are so often overbooked and Dr Kwasnik is no different in this matter. Therefore, be prepared to wait, as most likely you won’t be seen at the exact time of your appointment. Other than that, I highly recommend Dr Kwasnik!
Jun 02, 2022 · Bel Z.told me my cat did not have ear mites and to buy a cream for irritation from them because he was constantly scratching his ears. it’s now months later and he is still scratching so i took him to another vet and he actually has had ear mites all this time which are nowgone because of the new vet.
Jan 02, 2025 · Jamie KehoeAbsolutely horrible! I recommended this place to my mother and her cat (family pet) because this is where I take my dog. (Not anymore) My mother went in for her first visit (consultation) they checked out our cat and told my mother our cat needed tests and bloodwork done. Ok no problem, we agreed. My mom explained to them how he wasn’t eating for days and not acting like him self. They sent my mom home with medication for the cat. It did not work and how can you prescribe pills if the cat is not eating. (Not even liquid medicine) My mom called to get some answers from the tests and bloodwork taken prior, they didn’t really explain what was going on and told my mother the cat needs more bloodwork done. My mother did the second set of bloodwork for our cat. They still didn’t have an answer for her. I now decided to call because I feel like they were just giving my mom a run around. Dr. Banner definitely could have explained the results way better or in an easier manner. (Especially for the elderly) I personally spoke to the Dr. Banner and at this point she basically did the same to me. I then asked her if she could break it down in easier terms. She replied “Let me get someone on the phone to further explain this to you.” I felt like that was extremely unprofessional due to the fact that she is the doctor. You want your patients to trust you or to at least feel comfortable when leaving their pets health in your hands. She then says our next move would be to get a CT (cat scan) or Sonogram to further see what’s going on. My mother already spent 1,300$ for tests and bloodwork. She still didn’t get any help or answers. Now the office wants an additional 500$-1,000$ (our choice) for more tests. We are not receiving any help at this point ! We still didn’t receive any answers but they had no problem wanting to charge more money. At this point I felt so bad for my mom and she was extremely heartbroken and helpless. I then called the other office to see what was going on with our next step. Receptionist Veronica (super rude) told me that my moms cat has a huge mass. I was completely shocked because nobody informed me or my mother about this information. That’s extremely unprofessional. How do you not share that kind of information with the pets family. Why keep charging us money but give no answers to what’s going on with our sick pet. At this point I was frustrated too. Our cat didn’t deserve this. At this point, I did my own due diligence and I was able to find the most AMAZING veterinarian in queens. They actually apologized to us for all the torture we endured (especially our cat) and money that was spent. We definitely got the answers we needed. We received the right medication (a liquid form) and our cat finally ate (so happy about that) and most importantly we got the clarity needed. Our pets are so important they are our family. Please if you love your family (pets) do not bring them here. I decided to also take my dog out of this horrible clinic. I received all her medical history and I couldn’t be happier with the veterinary doctor I have now. (My mother as well) They are also located in Queens. Please anyone feel free to write me if your looking for a new veterinarian doctor/office. Please if you love your pets do not bring them to AMINAL CLINIC METROPOLITAN this place is horrible. They only care for the money !!!!!
Apr 17, 2024 · Natasha TaparelliDr. Kwasnik is by far THE best veterinarian we ever worked with in the 30+ years we've had cats. He listens and answers all your questions and is deeply compassionate. He is worth the wait and the cold attitude you may experience from some of the newer front desk staff.
