This review indicated issues with dismissed concerns about a pet's deteriorating health after a shot, difficulty reaching veterinarians for follow-up, and a perception that the clinic prioritizes money over pet care, particularly after the pet's passing. This review emphasized a lack of further testing initially and a breakdown in communication regarding the pet's worsening condition. Prospective clients should consider all feedback when making their decision.

For pet owners in New York, particularly in the Flushing area of Queens, the Animal Clinic of Queens presents itself as a local option for veterinary services. Its convenient location on Fresh Pond Road makes it readily accessible for residents, simplifying the logistical aspects of obtaining pet care within a busy urban environment.
The clinic offers a comprehensive range of services, from routine wellness and vaccinations to more specialized care like dentistry, dermatology, and even emergency surgeries, aiming to address diverse pet health needs. The availability of house calls and assistance with international pet travel certificates are also notable conveniences for the New York community.
Positive customer feedback highlights several appealing aspects, including a welcoming and efficient front office, a professional and knowledgeable veterinarian, and a general sense of comfort and safety provided by the unified staff. The reasonable pricing and attention to detail in surgical recovery, such as the use of comfortable surgical suits, are also attractive features for local pet parents.
However, it is crucial for prospective clients to consider all available feedback. Jun 14, 2025 · Jacqueline HassenstabDO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT GO HERE!I would leave 0 stars if i could, I took my cat in for an issue with scabbing on his neck and scratching, they gave him a shot on the 23rd and his health started to deteriorate. I called a week after the shot he received and tried to let them know that he wasnt getting better, and that his health kept deteriorating, they dismissed my concerns and told me to call back another day since the doctors werent there. As the days went by he kept getting worse, we waited for a call back and called multiple times in between but they kept telling us that there weren’t any vets available to address my concerns to. And when we finally set the appointment up it was too late and my cat passed away. They did no further testing the day they gave him a shot for his scratching but were quick to charge us. This veterinary center does NOT care about your pets, they prioritize money and will not take your concerns seriously. PLEASE take your pet elsewhere if you want to ensure they’re ACTUALLY cared for.

Jun 28, 2025 · Katrina DarraghI have used Dr. John Mucera for 16 years. He is the kindest, most loving vet. He has always taken the best care of my rescue puggle.
Apr 12, 2025 · Gand E PowerWhenever I came with my dog they would treat him, so the doctors are doing their job well. But I always felt rushed, like the doctor just wanted me to get out as soon as possible. They also speak so fast and get slightly frustrated when I kept asking them to repeat things. But overall they're doing a good job.
