For pet owners in New York City, particularly those in Queens, ensuring your beloved companions are up-to-date on their vaccinations is a fundamental part of responsible pet ownership. The Vetco Vaccination Clinic in Rego Park offers a convenient and accessible solution for these essential preventive health needs. In a bustling city where time and convenience are paramount, Vetco provides a streamlined approach to keeping your pets protected against common diseases.
Vetco Vaccination Clinic operates with a focus on providing core wellness services, primarily vaccinations and microchipping, in a retail environment. This model is designed to make preventive care more accessible and often more affordable for busy New Yorkers. While the clinic aims for efficiency, their approach to handling pets can vary, as indicated by customer experiences. One pet owner highlighted a positive interaction, noting, "They were very good with my puppy, treated him very nice and handled him much better than I thought they would," suggesting that many pets experience gentle care during their visit.
It's important for pet owners to understand the specific services offered by a vaccination clinic like Vetco, as they differ from full-service veterinary hospitals. Their primary role is to deliver crucial preventive measures, helping to safeguard your pet's health against infectious diseases that are prevalent in urban environments like New York City. For routine vaccinations, microchipping, and certain basic tests, Vetco aims to be a straightforward and efficient option for the local community.
The Vetco Vaccination Clinic in Rego Park is conveniently located at 61-35 Junction Blvd, Rego Park, NY 11374, USA. This address places it within a popular retail hub in Queens, making it easily identifiable and accessible for residents of Rego Park, Forest Hills, Elmhurst, and other surrounding neighborhoods. Its placement within a commercial area often means proximity to other amenities, which can add to the convenience for pet owners.
Accessibility is a key advantage for this Vetco location in New York City. Junction Boulevard is a major thoroughfare in Queens, well-served by public transportation. Several MTA bus routes also run along Junction Boulevard and nearby streets, offering additional convenient stops close to the clinic.
For those traveling by car, the clinic's location within a retail center often provides dedicated parking options, which can be a significant benefit in a densely populated area like New York City where street parking can be scarce. Vetco Vaccination Clinic Reviews
I would give this Vetco 0 stars if I could. Dr Osara is not only rude and condescending , but will also laugh in your face after she lies to you to pay for vaccines your dog is not mandated to have. Really Vetco, do better.
Jul 02, 2025 · Lori LaBelloThey were very good with my puppy, treated him very nice and handled him much better than I thought they would.
Nov 14, 2024 · Steven GiannakopoulosTook my cats to the vet here at vetco, and was quick. They treated my girls with care and had an examination done thoroughly. The vet assistants were also really nice and welcoming.
Jul 15, 2024 · Kelian MontanezWorst experience at petco clinic so far.Firstly, staff members are poorly trained. I arrived at store around 10am for my 10:10am appointment. I asked where the clinic is and was told by 2 of staff it should be open around 10:30 or 11am. How terrible the staff is trained for basic store info!Secondly, sanitary maintenance is unacceptable in this location. While waiting for vet, I decided to go to restroom. It was a mess! Toilet paper was everywhere and lots of stain on toilet! I'm not able to imagine going back again. Moreover, there are several spots of dog urination in store and not cleaned up. Even my dog was lured to mark, even though he never peed indoors after 5 month old.Thirdly, there is unbelievable long wait to get checkin. It took over 30 min to check in for a 5-min clinic visit! The weighing scale was broken and the staff failed to find one that works. Everyone had to report weight of pets rather than had them checked. Also, the lady in front of me spent much long time for her vet records to be checked, which dramatically extended the wait time for everyone in line.
Jul 01, 2023 · X WI really liked the techs and the Vet at the vaccine clinic. I found them to be really nice and helpful.
