Oak Grove Veterinary Hospital INC. Introduce
For pet and livestock owners in Coweta and the broader Oklahoma region, Oak Grove Veterinary Hospital INC. serves as a key full-service medical resource for their animals. Recognized as a comprehensive veterinarian, animal hospital, and provider of emergency services, the practice is equipped to handle the diverse health needs of everything from family companion animals to valuable equine and large livestock. This integration of routine wellness, advanced diagnostics, and critical emergency care makes the hospital a vital facility for the local community.
The hospital offers a wide range of medical, surgical, and preventative services, covering all aspects of general practice for both small and large animals. Their commitment to offering emergency veterinary services ensures that they are ready to assist with urgent medical crises that may arise during their operating hours, providing a crucial first line of defense before referral to a 24-hour critical care center if necessary. However, as is common with busy, full-service practices, the hospital manages a high volume of scheduled appointments alongside unexpected emergencies, which can sometimes lead to scheduling pressures and delays. Client feedback indicates that while the veterinary team can be exceptionally compassionate, particularly in sensitive situations like euthanasia, the administrative and communication processes can sometimes be strained, especially when the clinic is overwhelmed.
Oak Grove Veterinary Hospital Inc. operates on a model where appointments are highly recommended to ensure both pets and large animals receive timely, dedicated care. This scheduling system is in place to manage the flow of patients efficiently, though emergency cases always take top priority, which is an assurance to pet owners when time is of the essence. Pet owners should be prepared to ask proactive questions about care plans, prescriptions, and billing, particularly during high-stress visits, to ensure all details of their pet's care are clear before leaving the facility.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- A one star is too good for this “hospital”. If you want to spend thousands on regular care for your animals, and be under the impression they care… then go. A family dog whom is only 6 years old was brought to Oak Grove this week. She is in renal failure with levels way too high. She stayed at oak grove for 5 days. When they called and advised her levels weren’t going down and she could come home to basically live out her days, we headed to pick her up after work. Once arriving we were just ushered to a room, where we listened to our dog bark for 45 min. Approached the desk twice, no help just “we’re so busy continue to wait I don’t have time for you”. The staff knew our situation, knew we were picking up a family member whose possibly gonna die. Handed them $1,100 to be treated the worst we have in two years at this office. We left with no prescription for renal food, no medication for her throwing up, no discussion with the vet on her care plan. Didn’t even see the vet… for a very I’ll patient. NOTHING but attitudes cause they were busy. To have the vet call after leaving and say “I didn't Think you would have questions, I’m sorry!” WHO WOULDN’T HAVE QUESTIONS THE DOGS KIDNEY ARE FAILING!!!!! Once your dogs $$ has run out they DO NOT CARE, they will show 0 empathy for your feelings or the fact your animal is dying. To add icing on the cake our dog was given to us SOAKING WET! They advised me HOURS earlier that she had gotten a bath.. yes they left her in a kennel for hours wet. The reasoning was “drying would have stressed her out”. So a dog whose severely Ill with her kidney shutting down and in complete renal failure was left soaking wet to shiver in a kennel for hours cause well that’s won’t stress her out either. The lack of compassion and empathy at end of life should alert you they don’t deserve to treat ANY animals. Animals aren’t cars. You can’t just fill your books and not do your job. Your job is to HELP the animals, not just suck money out of their owners. If an owner can walk out grieving the fact their animal is going to pass, but have tears from overstimulated workers being beyond rude and careless… they do not care about your animals. They do not care about you.. your animal is a number end of story. BEWARE. December 16 · Brittini Ardery

- Absolutely love Oak Grove!! Jay and Brittney took excellent care of us. The staff is always excited to see us and always very helpful. We get immediate service and they have state of the art machines to get it done correctly the first time right then and there. I highly recommend Oak Grove Veterinary to anyone, even my grandma. - I spent a long time looking for a new vet for my animals. After calling around I decided on Oak Grove because they had comparable prices. When I walked in I was greeted and was very pleased with the speed I was checked in and also with the appeal of the building. You can tell they care about their service to clients. The Dr. spent lots of time answering the many questions I had and gave lots of information to guide me through my appointment. And everything I’d need to know post appointment.I encourage people to not pay attention to the reviews of the few angry people and strongly recommend this clinic to any and all who are looking for a new place to care for their fur babies. - Dr. Holly and her staff are wonderful. My daughter adopted this girl from their clinic and she has added a whole new dimension of excitement for her brother Gus. December 31 · Christina Capps
