May 16, 2025 · melanie penmanWe love Old Dominion Animal Hospital! Our family has had multiple pets over the years in a variety of cities over the years and Old Dominion ranks number one.The front desk staff is always welcoming and efficient. They always greet our pets with such enthusiasm! We especially have appreciated the addition of Dr. Sirk. He is so caring and authentic. He has been especially accommodating to our older dog who has become increasingly anxious through his annual vaccinations and check up. He’s equally great with our younger dogs and cats. Giving us through explanations whenever questions arise. Thanks so much for taking care of our pets!

Mar 26, 2025 · Elora OverbeyJust had our first visit to Old Dominion on Preston Ave with our adult cat Minou bc our previous vet retired. Can’t say enough about impressed we are by the thoroughness of the exam and immediate communication regarding lab results. We highly recommend this vet for anyone seeking care for their cat!
Mar 20, 2025 · Linda BSo I unfortunately only became a part of the Old Dominion family recently when my cat became very ill and my gf brought him there for a second opinion. He had to be put down about two weeks later, obviously being very difficult decision for me to make. Let me tell you the professionalism, care, love, and thoughtfulness of the vet and the staff will make me never go anywhere else. They treated Jackson so well and were so supportive of me during this heartbreaking moment of my life. Just received a support letter today and it was not just some generic letter they send out. It was handwritten and signed by the entire staff and while it made me sad thinking about my buddy, the overwhelming compassion I felt was just what I needed. They even had taken paw prints and nose prints and included those for keepsakes, which meant the world to me. Old Dominion, be proud of what you represent, because you guys are amazing at what you do. Thank you for everything.
