Carolina Integrative Veterinary Hospital - Ryn Marlowe, DVM Reviews
A little over a week ago, I took my dog Ginny here for the first time. This place is exactly what I had been looking for and they are well worth the 2+ hours I spend driving there and back. Not only do they provide excellent care, but they paid attention to my sweet doggo and gave her so much love! I am always so irritated by vets and vet staff who barely acknowledge my dogs when I bring them in, but that wasn't the case here. The woman at the reception desk came around to say hello and give Ginny lots of love! That immediately set us both at ease. In the exam room, Dr. Lin and the vet tech got right down on the floor with Ginny to love on her and make her feel comfortable. And then Dr. Lin stayed in the room for as long as I needed to answer my many questions about my dog's care plan going forward. I know I tend to ask a lot of questions, but I never felt like I was holding her up or being annoying which I appreciated! I came here because I believe in integrative medicine, but I will continue to bring my dog here because of the people who made our first visit so wonderful!
Sep 16, 2024 · Elizabeth CRecently we had to make a really really hard decision about our dog, and I felt nothing but support from this vet team. Everyone was so unbelievably kind and thoughtful. I was able to be with my girl when she crossed the rainbow bridge and everyone was so kind. When I went to pick up my dog’s remains, there was a card with so many personalized messages from staff with condolences. It was so sweet. We didn’t have the opportunity to have much experience with them, but what we did experience, I have never experienced before. When we do decide to get another dog, we will definitely come to carolina integrative vet!
Jan 17, 2025 · Lindsay EbingerShortly after getting our puppy he started to itch all day and develop rashes with bacterial infection / yeast infection all over his body. We went to different vets in our area but none felt competent or like we were in good hands. None gave us confident answers to our questions and all pushed vaccination even though his immune system was already strained dealing with this. So we decided to broad our search for a holistic vet.Carolina Integrative Veterinary is a 2h drive from us but definitely worth it! Instead of just prescribing us antibiotics and wish us luck, Dr.Lin gave us many different cures to treat him AND gave us clear & confident recommendations and answers. She explained everything to us clearly so we could make an informed decision. All the staff is very caring, gentle, respectful and knowledgeable.Yesterday they told us he was finally in the clear and doing great! We are so happy and grateful!
Apr 12, 2023 · Alison TrescarteVet got recommended by Hollywood feed. Couldn’t be more happy with this new vet! So knowledgeable and nice! Only been here twice and it already feels like a second home for me and my fur babies. If you are looking for a vet with a more holistic approach, one who will listen to your concerns before prescribing meds etc. then this place can’t be beat! Highly recommend!
Oct 19, 2024 · Katie WoeckenerWe are so thankful to have found Dr. Ryn Marlowe and her staff! A very knowledgeable, kind and caring team! Dr. Marlowe is using acupuncture to help improve our 9 year old Standard Poodle's immune system, as he goes through a short course of chemotherapy (at CARE) for a rare toe cancer. The combination of supplemental treatments has noticeably given him a better quality of life. He's also receiving laser treatments to help his sore hips. We are grateful for the integrative modalities helping our sweet boy through this season. He is happy and playful, his agility and appetite have returned!
