There have been several instances where he has pointed out something medically that my former vet never noticed or discussed with us. I’ll also point out that my former vet (of many years) never had a doctor who just sat on the floor while talking to me so that my babies get comfy with and get some love from their doctor! Thankful we found this practice- I finally have an office where I don’t feel dread or stress when I arrive or leave." Jul 03, 2025 · Allison WhitakerDr. Ellis and Dr. Culberson are THE BEST and my little family is so grateful for them and their staff.Everyone at FM Animal Hospital treat my 14yo reactive pup, 4yo anxious gazelle, and our 18yo grumpy kitty (and us humans!) with immense amounts of kindness, patience, and love.We had an unexpected passing of my cat last year. Dr. Ellis spent extra time carefully going through options and findings, and was there for us after Grey passed and answered the million questions I threw at him. We were able to find some comfort during our grief knowing my sweet boy was in caring hands during his final days. Dr. E is so kind and thoughtful, and truly cares for his patients at a personal level.Currently I’m working with Dr. C to give my 14yo pup the best comfort possible after being diagnosed with an incurable cancer. She has been so kind, thorough, and empathetic with us during this hard time, and has been a tremendous source of strength as we navigate a path forward.Thank you all for everything you’ve done and continue to do for us.- Ilora, Jenna, Dahlia, Grey, Odie, and Simon
Apr 24, 2025 · LoraI am so impressed with everyone at Fort Mill Animal Hospital. With a multi-senior dog household I’ve spent quite a bit of time here, for wellness and management of chronic and acute concerns. The front office is organized. They very friendly and responsive to calls and texts. Sam does an amazing job of working in sick visits in a timely manner, same day if urgent. So many practices today leave little time for sick visits so I really appreciate this! The nurses are very skilled and knowledgable and treat my dogs with so much kindness. I really appreciated Hector and Jessica’s help managing my mastiff and helping him through his vet anxiety following a traumatic ICU stay. He seems to love it here now! In fact last visit he sat down and refused to leave! And can’t forget Ariel who manages Hiccup’s abundant energy with a positive and equally happy attitude.Dr Culbertson has been our vet. I have to say she is by far the best vet I have had for my dogs. Her exams and very complete. She takes the time to explain the findings and comes up with effective treatment plans to address issues. I feel like she has been invested in my dogs care and a partner in improving the quality of life of my senior pack!Max is back to standing on the fence to greet me when I get home from work! And can again sleep on his favorite couch! What a wonderful hospital all around! You all do a difficult job with compassion!
Jun 16, 2024 · Susan ReshI recently brought my dog here and have been bringing her for several years. My last visit was just odd. Several assistants came into the room during the visit. It became long waits before the vet came in. I had to sign paperwork when I decided to hold off on one vaccine and testing. I did all the required vaccinations. Secondly, one of the assistants has a cold demeanor, which was not pleasant. Nail clipping was just okay. I'm sorry, but I was not as happy with the overall feel of the office or the pricing this visit.
