★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- Dr. Jacobs, Dr. Poehlman, and the staff were tremendous in caring for my dog at the end of his life. They only did the necessary tests while also doing everything they could to make sure he made the most of his older years. I greatly appreciate all the work they did for my dog. I'd recommend this team to anyone! August 21 · Peter Fitzgerald
- All my cat have been treated at Park Pet Hospital over the years. I cannot say enough about how wonderful and compassionate the vets are here. They take their time in the exam room to make sure your animal is comfortable before treatment. The doctors recommend tests only as needed and understand that some people have limited income. I have had two very old cats put to sleep here and I felt myself and the doctor sent them off to heaven. It was done in an extremely peaceful and loving manner.Debra Jacob May 12 · Debra Jacob
- This is our vet for our furry family of 3. We love them! We’ve seen Dr Hoppe & Dr Jacobs. Both have a wonderful way with our sometimes anxious pets to make them feel at ease. Prices and recommendations always on the conservative side, with options laid out clearly should we choose to do more. Can’t imagine going anywhere else for our routine pet care. Plus if you say I sent you, we each get a $50 credit. How great is that??!! March 09 · Karen Spinti
- My dog cut her paw on something sharp outside and got stitches here. For her aftercare, we were sold on a boot contraption which keeps her away from her paw. We were told this is better than the cone collar. The doctor specifically recommended this over the cone collar. I didn’t know any better because this is my first time dealing with such issue.First night, it was ok. Second night, we found that she was able to get the boot off and the bandage off. I called in the morning and they recommended I bring her in for new bandaging. They didn’t mention anything about needing to now use a cone collar. They asked if the boot was damaged and I told them it wasn’t. Because I was 2 hours away from the vet due to a personal life situation, I asked them if I can bandage and put the boot back on. They said if I can keep the boot on her, it’s fine. I assumed it was user error like I didn’t tighten it enough or something. Before the third night, this time I made sure the boot was strapped to her very securely. When I woke up, I found that she was able to damage the Velcro and take the boot off. But this time, my dog unfortunately also damaged the stitches: I drove two hours to the vet and got here at 8 am, as soon as they opened. The nurse coldly says it’s my fault for not picking up the collar yesterday since I knew she was able to take the boot off. Then says I have to go to the emergency since they’re booked for the day. I hadn’t even considered that she was going to be able to reinjure herself. If there was even a chance of that, why would they recommend this boot over the collar? I followed all their directions and now I have to spend thousands in total going to the emergency.I’m certain any other vet would’ve recommended and gave the cone collar on the first day and this wouldn’t have been an issue. They wouldn’t have sold me on a boot contraption that doesn’t work. Also to blame it on the patient is ridiculous. I couldve got the collar anywhere, I was sold on the boot. I wanted to talk to the doctor directly so that he could tell me one on one, but they wouldn’t allow me to talk to the doctor! I wanted to hear it directly from him, he seemed like a kind person but it’s clear he doesn’t care. Honestly cold treatment especially considering it was a result of bad after care recommendations and advice. I had to drive two hours there because I’m in between jobs and moved into my parents. They not only hurt my pet but hurt me financially during a tough time. I don’t recommend this vet.Edit: the doctor called to apology but it’s all words. if he cared, he would’ve asked us to return so that he can provide affordable care since his bad recommendation of product led to this issue. It’s all just lies, that’s what’s so tiring about this world. Coming here was pointless and costly. I’m still forced to go to the emergency care on top of the care I’ve received here. Any doctor that cared would’ve provided affordable treatment that arose from their bad aftercare product recommendation instead of coldly telling their patient to go to the emergency despite them having got to the vet as soon as they opened. If they cared, they would’ve stayed late or found a way to fit us in. Sorry doesn’t change the injury to my pet nor to my finances. April 19 · Kevin
