Pasadena Animal Hospital Introduce
For pet owners in Pasadena, Maryland, and across Anne Arundel County, finding a veterinary practice that offers both exceptional medical care and a deep understanding of animal well-being is paramount. When your beloved dog or cat faces an unexpected health crisis, or even during routine wellness visits, you want a team that instills confidence and provides truly effective solutions. Pasadena Animal Hospital, located on Mountain Road, has served the community for years, with a reputation that includes life-saving interventions and a commitment to pet health. This article aims to provide local Maryland residents with a detailed look at what makes Pasadena Animal Hospital a significant resource for their cherished animal companions.
Pasadena Animal Hospital operates as a comprehensive veterinary facility, dedicated to providing a wide range of medical services for dogs and cats. Unlike emergency-only clinics, they aim to serve as your pet's primary care provider, offering everything from preventative wellness to diagnostics and complex treatments. The experiences of pet owners can vary, and it's important to consider different perspectives. While one highly impactful review credits Dr. Sean Evans with saving a dog's life through conservative treatment for a severe back injury, another client's feedback raises concerns about customer service, perceived upselling, and animal handling. These contrasting views highlight the subjective nature of service experiences and the complexities inherent in running a veterinary practice. It is worth noting that the hospital emphasizes its experienced, trusted team with over 50 years of combined veterinary experience and a long-standing reputation in the community, suggesting a strong foundation of expertise and client loyalty over many years. For local pet owners, understanding the full scope of their offerings and deciding if their approach aligns with your needs is key.

Pasadena Animal Hospital Reviews
Dr. Sean Evans saved my dogs life. He had a back injury and my previous vet was out of town and the emergency vet told me there was nothing that could be done except a $12,000 surgery after a $4,000 MRI. My friend told me to go here and he put my dog on medication and crate rest. A few weeks later, my beloved dog is almost back to normal. My dog was in so much pain I thought I was going to have to out him down. I cannot be more grateful!
Jun 19, 2025 · Emily SmailWont be coming back here again, been twice and both times they were very rude to me, they upsell everything they can and charge way more than other vets. The staff put my dog in a headlock to give him a shot, completely unnecessary and aggressive move from staff.
Jun 26, 2025 · Aric FrederickWonderful, caring, compassionate, knowledgeable, and professional. I love this office and trust them with our fur babies. Thank you for always treating us humans and our dogs with kind and up-to-date care.
Sep 07, 2023 · Sarah PriceVet is very good with animals very respectful of the owners and very gentle also clinic is super clean and affordable for those who have low income household they work with you and dont press other stuff to be done that's unnecessary like most vets do for money they are great and I'd recommend to everyone
Jun 13, 2025 · Amber GreenThis is who you want to care for your fur-babies, trust me. I’ve had more than my share of events where Dr. Sean Etter and his staff have provided me the most compassionate, efficient and respectful care. Dr. Etter managed to help me find a way to diagnose, treat, manage and provide my dog with a life that is absolutely wonderful but also help me be the best pet parent I could along the way by giving me great resources. He’s done the same with my cat during a challenging time. His staff is always right there for you when you need them. I just can’t say enough wonderful words about this practice.
