- First time trying groomer here. When I dropped off in am I told front desk to please have groomer call before grooming my dogs as she wasn’t in yet at drop off. At 11:30 I called up there concerned that groomer had not called. Left another message with front desk just to have her call before doing them. They told me one groomer called in today. I get a call at 2.00 my dogs are done. They are golden retrievers and I wanted them a certain way. My dogs are short and I am not pleased at all. On top of a 230.00 for something i absolutely hate.I do not recommend at all. If you can’t take the time to call your clients to see what they want done on their dogs. July 30 · Trish Freasier
- I rarely provide ratings, but I wanted to express how much I value the professionalism, compassion, and kindness of this establishment. I love both vets, and their vet techs are also wonderful, kind, and professional. They are also not a revolving door showing that the techs like working there. Emily in particular has been there since I've started going and her helpfulness and professional attitude has always made going to the vet as easy and pleasant as possible--she is always so great to my son too who adores her. They never talk down to him, they teach him, and let him. have a lot of suckers :)They even helped some friends of mine when they needed to have their dog put down. They were not regular customers, but Paw Prints took them in and treated them and their animal with "abundant compassion and mercy." I knew I could recommend this vet and my friends would be well taken care of and that means the world to me.The few bad reviews I'm guessing say more about the customer than the establishment. I've seen the staff be treated rudely by stressed customers, because aren't we all when our pets are struggling, and they were always calm and professional. Their jobs are sad, stressful, busy and they still have never failed to still remain calm and professional under pressure. This place isn't phoney or posh; its a vet clinic that cares for animals and are equally caring to customers. Our animals are happy and healthy as are their humans. I cannot thank this clinic enough for all they have done for us and our animals. I will continue to recommend kind people to them. - My whole family has been going to Paw Prints for my entire life. Most recently, my aussie girl Amaura had developed a persistant cough shortly after her first birthday. I took her in to see Dr. Johnson, we tried antibiotics, antihistamines, anti-inflamitories and a few other things. She never got any better, my poor girl just kept coughing and slowly getting worse. Well Dr. Johnson spent the extra free time to do some research and find me a specialist in manhatten at the K-State veterinary hospital. Amaura and i spent all day at K-State just to be sent home with another wrong answer. They had finially suggested lung worms. But when we got back to Paw Prints for test, everything showed negative. By this point Amaura's coughing fits would last up to an hour and was really starting to take its toll on both of us. I was staying awake at night just to make sure she didnt choke or stop breathing in the middle of the night. But Dr. Johnson was still hard at work trying to find a solution, even dispite all the other people and pets that need help. Eventually he did find a solution for Amaura, she has canine EBP. Her type is a genetic auto-immune disease. Amaura is a genetic piebald so she is prone to genetic disorders, unfortunately. But he found us the right treatment, he has always treated us with respect, the entire office knows us by name, was so patient and helpful. They even gave us some discounts where they could. They have always given me such great info and great service, i cant say enough nice things about them! September 10 · Brandon Spies
