★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Please if you have rats do not bring them here! The pricing is insane for exotic animals, I can not speak for cat and dog care but for a minimal procedure (teeth trimming) with sedation for a single rat weighing less than a pound was well over $500… there are better and more affordable/knowledgeable places in the area to receive proper care for your rats. Staff was nice and respectful none the less so I do appreciate the workers this is not against yall.
March 11 · Bailey McGlassonDr. Sara and her staff are wonderful. Compassionate, nonjudgemental, practical, responsive. Everything you would hope for in a veterinarian's office. I initially found Dr. Sara for in-home euthanasia services (she was recommended) for my 19 year old cat. She was professional but also personal and warm... Taking time to share some things about herself so the experience felt shared rather than lonely. I then transferred my other cats' care to her office because I appreciated and trusted the time she took. Paws and Feathers also really stood apart from other nearby clinics because I could almost always get an appointment the same day I called if my cats were under the weather (FIV so important to get them seen right away!). The prices at Paws and Feathers are VERY reasonable, and they only recommend tests they think are necessary. I have always let them know I am open to additional lab work, and they let me know that they already have enough information to make treatment decisions. They also explain follow-up care and make time to follow-up with appointments a few days later to see my cats' response to treatment. In an era where corporations are scooping up veteranian clinics, I am so grateful to have Paws and Feathers available to me and my beloved pets! Everyone there is dedicated and loyal to their human and animal clients and to each other!Truly, Thank you!
August 04 · Jennifer SchwartzWe brought our cat here for a second opinion. She was diagnosed with cancer and the first vet was vague about our prospects - she was vaguely suggesting surgery but also said the chances of survival or full recovery are not great. Dr Sarah took one good look and said very compassionately that we shouldn’t put our cat through surgery. She explained why, she explained what we can expect over the next few weeks, and when to come back. She gave us painkillers and told us what to watch out for. I was grateful that she was willing to be clear and straightforward about how we should proceed to make out cat’s last few weeks as good as possible.
March 27 · Csilla M. FisherThe WORST! Dr. SARAH PROMISED TO DO MY DOGS X-RAYS WITHOUT NO CHARGE AND SHE DIDN’T DO THEM TO MY DOG while I was already paying for a surgery!!!!! She HAD A 6mo CANCEROUS TUMOR 3 months later (she had just gotten surgery not even 3months ago) and NOWWW MY DOG HAD TO GET PUT DOWN AND IS NOWWW DEADDD DO TO HER NEGLECT. she could’ve caught it on the xray but since she decided not to do them now my dog is dead.
August 25 · Lenie ArceI took my senior cat in to Paws and Feathers after my daughter had taken her cat hereto be treated in the past. I have never felt more disgusted by a Vets actions before. I did not feel like there was any compassion for my baby. He had an abscess according to Dr Sarah but was only given an antibiotic shot. A week later the swollen eye began to bleed. I was instructed to email her pictures of the eye , not to bring him back in. To sum this up, I took my furbaby somewhere else where we were both treated like we mattered. He was given liquid antibiotics and pain meds and an ointment for the eye, to clear up the infection before surgery. Which she obviously was not going to do. I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THIS PLACE AGAIN NOR WILL I RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE. Seems like at this place if you don’t have a lot of money you are basically disregarded.
