My poor cat had a botched declaw experience years before I got her. However it now presented itself. I was able to make an appointment quickly and they explained everything to me in a way I understood. They were kind and caring for my kitty cat. As she had gotten an X-ray they texted me live updates on her progress from sedation to waking up. I will return to this place for any and all relating care now.Update: just had her surgery and these people are the absolute nicest. They told me very clearly and in a way I understood what needed to be done. while it was absolutely hard to know my baby was in surgery, they kept me updated and called when she was done.

Went in to Urgent care this morning and had a wonderful experience. As nervous as we were, the staff was so friendly and quick to help us and ease our anxiety about our Doberman’s tummy issues. We left feeling confident that we got the best care.

I had an outstanding experience at Petfolk in Southlake today. I called last minute because my puppy wasn’t feeling well, and they were able to get me in almost immediately. From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. They took us back right away, and the level of care my puppy received was absolutely impeccable — thorough, compassionate, and clearly centered around what was best for his health and comfort.The veterinarian and the entire team took their time explaining everything in detail and answered all of my questions without making me feel rushed. It was clear they genuinely care about the pets they treat and the people who bring them in. On top of the excellent service and care, the pricing was extremely fair, especially given the quality of attention and treatment we received. I left feeling relieved, informed, and confident that my puppy was in great hands.I’m grateful to have found such a trustworthy and professional veterinary clinic so close to home. I felt it was very important to share my experiences today. My dog has not eaten or had any water in two days and is obviously suffering. I saw the website and thought “urgent care for pets, this will be great.” I was expecting to go in get an evaluation and maybe be sent to my regular vet or maybe told it was nothing to worry about for a fee. After 4 hours and 10 times the fee I was expecting, I left with no diagnosis and some medication and a few symptoms to watch for. In the middle of the 4 hours, I asked when someone was coming back and I was told that the vet was busy with a very sick dog. All I could think was that I am sorry for whoever has the sick dog but my dog is obviously not healthy. Only visit if you have a lot of money and time to waste.

If I could give 1000000/5 stars I would in a heartbeat! Pictured is my anxious and fearful but also happy & excited boy after our new patient exam/vaccine updates. Little background- I’ve had my boy since 7 weeks old. At 1.5 he had a terribly traumatic experience (2 actually) at a vets office. That stuck with him. He is friendly & excited, but in a vet clinic/exam room he is fractious, scared, and so fearful he is reactive. The team at petfolk were so welcoming of that, with assurance we would get him taken care of. They operate with a fear free policy and they actually act on that. They allowed him to take his time & accept my assistance in order to keep him as calm as we could to be able to move forward with the visit without medicating, stressful/scary restraining, or sedation. I am beyond thankful for this facility and their caring demeanor. Having a place that truly understands my dogs needs, and will work with us to get him cared for, means the world and is priceless. If you have a stressed/anxious/fearful/reactive fur baby, 100000000x over recommending this place. 7.5 years of life we finally found a place I left feeling good about and I didn’t leave in tears.
