PetVet Vaccination Clinic Introduce
For pet owners across Tennessee, especially those in the Kimball area, finding affordable and accessible routine veterinary care can be a challenge. The PetVet Vaccination Clinic, located within the Tractor Supply Co. store, offers a unique and convenient solution for essential preventative services. This is not a full-service animal hospital, but rather a specialized clinic that focuses on providing necessary, non-emergency care. The mission of PetVet is to make pet wellness simple, accessible, and affordable for the community. The clinic operates on a walk-in basis, eliminating the need for pre-scheduled appointments and offering a flexible option for busy pet owners.
The PetVet Vaccination Clinic is located at 225 Wilson Carter Drive, Kimball, TN 37347. The clinic's location within a well-known retail store, Tractor Supply Co., adds a layer of convenience, allowing pet owners to combine their pet care visit with their regular shopping trip. The facility is designed to be as accessible as possible, with a wheelchair-accessible car park and a wheelchair-accessible entrance, making it easy for all community members to bring their pets in for care. The clinic operates with a first-come, first-served walk-in model, which is a key feature of its business. While this walk-in structure provides flexibility, it's worth noting that wait times can vary, as experienced by a customer who waited 1.5 hours. However, for many, the trade-off for no appointment and no office visit fee is a major benefit.
PetVet's services are centered on preventative health and wellness, providing the crucial care that helps keep pets healthy and happy. Their focus is on core services that do not require extensive diagnostic equipment or surgery. Services offered include:
Vaccinations: A full range of vaccinations are available for both dogs and cats, including core vaccines like rabies, DHLPP (distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, parvovirus, parainfluenza) for dogs, and FVRCP (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, panleukopenia) and rabies for cats. They also offer packages for puppies, kittens, and adult pets to ensure they are on the right vaccination schedule.
Heartworm and Parasite Prevention: The clinic provides heartworm testing and offers preventative medications for heartworms, fleas, and ticks. They also perform intestinal parasite screenings to ensure your pet is free from common internal parasites.
Microchipping: For peace of mind, PetVet offers microchipping services, which can be essential for pet recovery if your animal ever gets lost. This quick procedure provides permanent identification.
Basic Diagnostic Testing: They conduct limited diagnostic tests, such as heartworm tests and feline retroviral testing (FeLV/FIV), to screen for important diseases. This allows for early detection and management of potential health issues.
Nail Trims: In addition to medical services, they offer routine nail trims to help with pet hygiene and comfort.
Several key features and highlights make PetVet Vaccination Clinic a distinct option for pet owners in Tennessee. These features are designed to provide a specific type of pet care experience that prioritizes convenience and affordability.
No Appointment Needed: The walk-in model is a major highlight, offering unparalleled flexibility. This is especially useful for pet owners who have busy or unpredictable schedules and need quick access to preventative care without the formality of a traditional vet's office.
Affordable, Upfront Pricing: PetVet operates on a fee-for-service model with no office visit fees. This transparency in pricing can be a significant advantage, as you only pay for the services your pet receives. This can be more budget-friendly than a traditional vet visit that includes a separate exam fee.
Convenient Location: The clinic’s placement within a Tractor Supply Co. store makes it a part of your existing routine. You can take care of your pet's needs while picking up supplies, food, or other necessities for your home or farm.
Focus on Preventative Care: By specializing in a limited number of services, PetVet excels at what it does best: preventative care. This allows them to be efficient and focused on providing high-quality vaccinations and parasite prevention. They can effectively help owners stay on top of their pet's health to prevent future problems.

PetVet Vaccination Clinic Reviews
This was our first visit since moving to Tenn. Everyone was so helpful and good to Willow. She's a dog that gets so hyper and wants to play with every dog she sees. I was so glad my brother was able to go and control her. The girls got her blood with no problem and she got her vaccine without incident. Would recommend to anyone with pets.
June 04 · Nancy TangoToesI was there for 1.5 hours and only 2 people ahead of me. The worker said I will get an emailed prescription for heartworm medication. She was incorrect. The time it took out of my day to call Petvet, wait time on the phone and price I paid for bloodwork to get a prescription, that I didn’t get, is not worth it. I’ll stick w going to my vets office for routine needs.
