Pierson Lisa a DVM Reviews
I have never met Dr. Pierson, but I have read her blog on catinfor.org. I am a general surgeon who has transitioned to preventive medicine. Everything I tout to my patients is vastly similar to what she reveals on catinfo.org. Carbohydrates are the enemy! The idea is to optimize health, whether it is human or feline, and I applaud Dr. Pierson on her excellent presentation of the facts. And she backs everything up with great articles. If she was located near me, without doubt, she would be my vet.

July 26 · Judy BourgetI was an ignorant two-cat owner who gave dry food and treats to my two cats. Dr Pierson woke me up! Both of my cats were overweight--one was diagnosed with kidney disease and the other lost her eye to melanoma. I was sickened to discover I was doing everything wrong! I now feed them premium canned food and my next step will be a raw diet. I'm working with my vet to get them on the right track. Sugar treats for my cats?!! What was I thinking? Thank you so much Dr. Pierson. ( one of my bb's is a brown tabby.)
