Poultney Veterinary Hospital Reviews
I had brought my female cat to these people for her constant itching and licking of her fur and all they would do is to give her a shot and say it was allergies and this went on for about a year. I didn’t get any change in her itching and licking so I brought her to a different veterinarian and they had her for about 1/2 hr and did come back to me and say my cat was suffering from an overactive thyroid gland and they put her on medication to help her with this problem. Poultney veterinary services had the gall to warn me in an email that once a client leaves their care they aren’t allowed to come back! Lots of laughter as I would never be so stupid to trust their care or trust them with my pets health ,she could have died of her medical problem that they charged me for wrong diagnosis several times if I didn’t decide to go elsewhere. You have been for warned. Do not trust them with your animals health or you may regret giving them money while your animals are dying because they are negligent!!!!!!!!!! Below is a response I received from this negligent business. I wonder if they will tell the public how often I brought my cat to them for itching and licking herself. How can you say your records indicate she did well when I brought her back to you over and over for the very same reason . Your explanation was allergies let’s give her a shot until I said no more and went to a different veterinarian. So people out there use this as a warning sign that the people you trust with your pets care may actually be harming your pet by their inaction or inability to correctly diagnose your pet . These people are a prime example of malpractice either intentional or through stupidity. I can provide how many times and phone conversations as well to prove my point . Your apology is not excepted and I hope people really watch your decisions , for their loved animal may perish and then they will have to face the fact that they actually paid big money for their pet to be healthy when your veterinarian was the cause of it’s possible death if you didn’t pay close enough attention to your loved pet. If your pet is scratching and itching and licking and you brought your animals to this business you better rethink who is watching your pets health or your pet may not be around long!!!!!!!

Mar 29, 2024 · Lois TracyAppointments are easy to make; even emergencies (during business hours). I know the Dr's listen to my concerns are are talking me through "next steps" for the best course of action for my furries.I appreciated that Kylee was seen quickly and had a plan in place to get her better from the UTI she was suffering from. Both Dr. Johnson and Cindy care about Kylee and doing the best for her. And the plan is working... she is getting better. Thank you!
