Queens Animal Hospital Reviews
I brought my dog here years ago when he was a pup. I came back recently when my dog was attacked by my neighbors dog. My family was in a panic. Queens animal hospital put my families and my dogs needs first. They talked with me every step of the way asking if I had questions, making sure I understood the procedures and always asked for my Input. The staff was always caring, kind and understanding. They gave me estimates and helped me to find ways to get services in a way I can afford by educating me about Care credit. Thankfully they did because I was able to make an affordable payment plan without stressing. They were so kind . I will be coming back here

May 20, 2025 · Irem ErogluQueens Animal Hospital has changed over the years, but it’s still absolutely worth it.It’s no longer privately owned and is now part of a corporate network, which means prices are set and do tend to go up every year. That said, the quality of care, professionalism, and overall experience still make it one of the best options for pet care in Queens. They offer quick in-house testing with same-day results, which is incredibly helpful when you’re anxious about your pet’s health. You’re not left waiting days for answers and everything moves efficiently, and you feel like your pet’s well-being is genuinely prioritized.Even with the rising costs, the compassionate staff, reliable care, and fast service make it a clinic I continue to trust. If you’re looking for a place that balances affordability, speed, and top-tier veterinary care, this is it.
May 30, 2025 · Niko LiI brought my cat to Queens Animal Hospital after she got bitten by another cat and developed a red, open wound on her tail. The staff was super kind and gentle with her, and the vet explained everything clearly. They treated the wound, gave her antibiotics, and made sure she was comfortable. She’s healing well now, and I really appreciate how they handled everything. Definitely recommend them for emergencies like this!
Jun 18, 2025 · rupkatha baruaIt’s taken me a long time to write this review because of how deeply upsetting this experience was.Two months ago, I rushed my cat into this clinic, hoping to get him the urgent care he needed. I’ll always be grateful that they initially took him in, but unfortunately, that gratitude ends there.I explained to the vet that I had noticed bumps on my cat, which they did not detect during their examination—I had to physically point them out. As someone with experience working with animals, I found this extremely concerning. They also pushed for my very sick very weak cat to get the rabies vaccine in his condition when no other vet would do that.I paid for bloodwork that ultimately wasn’t performed. Instead, the clinic suggested putting my already very weak cat under anesthesia just to complete it that day. I declined because I knew he wouldn’t survive sedation. We scheduled an appointment for the following week to complete the biopsy at the same time.Despite knowing how poor his condition was, they offered no treatment beyond an appetite stimulant I ASKED FOR and vitamins. Then, I received a voicemail stating my cat had cancer. A voicemail. That’s how I was told my pet of many years had cancer. Where’s the compassion the professionalism!!They continued to recommend more testing and sedation, even though it was obvious my cat was deteriorating. I asked for medication to keep him comfortable, and received nothing but more vitamins.I ultimately transferred his care to another clinic. I sent over every record: bloodwork, biopsy results—everything. By the time of our appointment, my cat had declined so badly that I knew what was coming. The new vet and staff were heartbroken. They told me the cancer had spread to his stomach and were shocked the previous clinic hadn’t caught it. They could feel the lumps in stomach and were Shocked the previous vets had not disclosed that to me. They were horrified that multiple vets at that office had recommended sedating a dying animal just to run more tests.knowing that he would not make it back out.I had to say goodbye to my sweet boy that day. I will never forget the pain, or how preventable so much of it was. I’m writing this so other pet owners know to advocate hard for their animals and to think twice before trusting a clinic that doesn’t treat their patients—or their humans—with compassion and competence.I’ve attached a photo of the voicemail it doesn’t show it completely but that’s how I got the news my pet had cancer and they didn’t even have the decency to call me back and wanted to just do more test more sedation when it was clear that my cat was not good in anyway.
