★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Puma was an exceptional cat who i shared 11 years with. Her condition was beyond repair as she became ill just recently. She will be missed extremely. Her Doctor was talented in informing me of her details of her exam. She was sensitive to hand me a box of tissues as loosing a pet is emotionally overwhelming. I hope in years to come our pets can live longer. The hospital was professional & quite fast at responding to a emergency. It was the cleanest veterinary hospital i've seen.
August 23 · Ocusan MOur Norwich Terrier puppy, Carly, unfortunately broke her leg when she missed several stairs. She had an initial repair for the fracture at Apex to put in five pins, plus two subsequent, more minor procedures to remove pins that were working their way out and causing her pain. I'm happy to say that Carly is now fully functional and apparently pain free!I was impressed by everything and everyone at Apex. I believe we received excellent, compassionate medical care. Truly, everyone I interacted with was accessible and helpful, from the front desk staff, to Carly's surgeon, Dr. Sarowitz, and Carly's wonderful nurse, John. I needed to contact the clinic several times, and always got prompt answers to my questions. I sincerely hope that we do not need Apex in the future, but if we need urgent or specialty care, this is the first place I would go.Pictures of Carly after surgery and healed.
May 13 · Sarah BarakSaying goodbye to our beloved bunny Lola was one of the hardest things we’ve ever had to do, but the team at Apex Vets made it a little more bearable with their incredible kindness, compassion, and care. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with deep respect. Nick, who greeted us when we arrived, kindly took the time to speak slowly and patiently with us, even though he spoke very little Spanish. His warmth and presence were truly comforting during such a painful moment. Valeria, who assisted us through the process, spoke Spanish and explained everything clearly and gently, which helped us feel at peace with the decision. While we waited, Nick introduced us to Diana, a beautiful cat belonging to one of the nurses. Diana stayed with us as a sweet emotional support companion, and that thoughtful gesture brought us a little light in a heartbreaking moment. We were offered euthanasia for Lola free of charge, and it was handled with the utmost dignity and love. It meant the world to us to see her treated with such tenderness in her final moments.Thank you to Nick, Valeria, and everyone at Apex Vets. You helped us give Lola the peaceful goodbye she deserved. We’ll never forget your compassion.
July 23 · Jessica MontesMy male cat was having urinary issues, so I brought him to Apex Vets. The vet who saw him was adamant there was no blockage, repeatedly insisting he must be urinating elsewhere despite my insistence that was not happening. He then concluded my cat was experiencing urine retention as a side effect of Prozac, and dismissed my further questions even when his explanations were contradictory. He gave my cat a muscle relaxant and sent us home. Within 20 minutes, my cat had lost complete mobility in his hind legs. When I called Apex, I was told to “wait it out.” Thankfully, I contacted another ER, where I was told to bring him in immediately. At the second ER, my cat was properly diagnosed with a urinary blockage, hospitalized, and catheterized. Because of the delay, he required additional (and expensive) tests to ensure his hind legs weren’t permanently damaged. He didn’t regain use of them until the following afternoon. When Apex later followed up, I explained the misdiagnosis, only to be asked, “How did they determine that?” even though I had already explained that catheterization confirmed the blockage.I did receive a full refund which I appreciate, but had I trusted Apex Vets, my cat may not have survived the night. The six hours I spent at Apex Vets was time that my pet could have been receiving the care he urgently needed, and instead we were dismissed and disregarded. We will not be returning.
August 24 · Bryn R.Very well run animal hospital. I had to bring my friends dog in for a sudden illness, owners were traveling. Dr. Cox explained everything is professional and compassionate detail. I had to put my buddy to sleep that day, but the diagnosis was well presented to the owners and me with the help of a conference call. They handled everything extremely professionally and in a caring manor. This is the 4th dog I had to put to sleep and this was the smoothest and caring place.
