For California residents, selecting a veterinary hospital is a decision based on trust, quality of care, and convenience. Rancho Regional Veterinary Hospital is an exceptional choice for several powerful reasons. The most compelling reason is their commitment to compassionate care, especially during an emergency. The glowing review from a pet owner whose dog was in pain from a bee sting is a perfect example. The staff, specifically Dr. Bach and Maggie, not only provided excellent medical care but also showed genuine empathy for both the pet and the worried owners. Their willingness to accommodate an emergency without an appointment and even perform a procedure without sedation to ease the owner's anxiety demonstrates a level of dedication that is truly outstanding.
While a different review expresses a negative experience, it is important to consider the context. The second customer's unfortunate outcome and frustration with the diagnosis and prognosis highlight the difficult and unpredictable nature of veterinary medicine, especially with complex conditions. The reviewer notes that "doctors differ," which is a universal truth in all fields of medicine. While the outcome was heartbreaking, it does not necessarily negate the hospital's overall quality. The first review, which is detailed and emotional, provides a much stronger testament to the hospital's core values of compassion and professional excellence.
Moreover, the hospital's status as a comprehensive facility is a huge advantage. From routine vaccinations to advanced surgery, and even pet boarding and grooming, Rancho Regional Veterinary Hospital offers a one-stop-shop for all your pet's needs. This integrated approach ensures consistent and high-quality care. For residents of Rancho Cucamonga and the Inland Empire, the combination of advanced medical services, a compassionate staff, and a convenient location makes Rancho Regional Veterinary Hospital a top-tier and highly recommendable choice for your pet's health and wellness.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This was our first time here. All the staff and the Doctor who saw our baby were amazing. Our boy got stung by a bee and was in so much pain it made us worried sick. When most of the places tried to make money off us while still keeping our boy in pain, they were really compassionate. They were not only thoughtful for our boy but they also made sure we were happy parents too.I understand that appointments are important but so does compassion specially for a veterinary hospital. Thankyou for taking us in and making us comfortable. I am specially thankful to Dr.Bach and the technician Maggi.I was nervous because of some reviews and asked if the procedure could happen without sedation. They actually went the extra mile for us even though it took so much effort from them. If I start writing the whole story I might cry so keeping it short but these words and appraises are not enough.I recommend the place and specially thankful to Dr.Bach and Maggie ❤️🐾
August 12 · Yamini SharmaThe first visit was acceptable with a diagnosis of two possible conditions.(Provided this was a second opinion visit). Meds made her sleep a whole day. But after a couple of days she got downhill which led to believe it was just one of the two possible conditions. So, I brought my dog walking on second visit in advance of the follow up from first visit (before the scheduled day) for confirmation of just one possible condition. Instead of giving me a REAL assessment, (Google would have made no difference), they sold me a false hope, no prognosis but hope, and charged me almost a thousand dollars. Dog didn't stand anymore when picking up, got worse overnight (no difference from previous night which made me go to vet again), and with just two doses of meds at home dog died next day. We are left with all the medicine and extra exams (having been performed already)...and no peace of right choice. If your gut tells you don't go to vet, don't. It's an just educated guess with power to prescribe. We can also guess. We can also observe. We can also fail...with ignorance. It was a bad move and they need to acknowledge. Real responses, real approaches. It seemed it was gonna be that way..Doctors differ. That's a bummer. (Make sure to have emergencies on same day your doctor or vet in this case is available, huh?)
July 30 · Evan C.Our family received excellent service and compassion as we had to say goodbye to our beloved Pongo. The care received from the doctor and staff was wonderful in our time of loss. I am grateful that we found a caring facility. My family and I will always be grateful to everyone at Rancho Regional Vet. Thank you for being there for Pongo and our family.
July 31 · Erica Rubio FimbresI’ve been taking my dog to this clinic for over a year, but my most recent visit left me extremely disappointed and disheartened. What should have been a straightforward appointment turned into a drawn-out, overpriced ordeal that felt more like a sales pitch than genuine veterinary care. When I brought my dog in for an urgent concern, I was told it was an emergency — yet we were left waiting over 40 minutes in the room before even being seen. Once we were finally seen, instead of focusing on the actual issue, the vet ordered a series of unrelated tests and pointed out problems that had no connection to my dog’s symptoms. This felt like an upsell during a moment of high stress and concern, and it led to a significant — and in hindsight, unnecessary — bill.In the end, after all the testing and long hours, I was told my dog just needed rest. Then moments later, I was convinced into paying for IV treatment “just in case,” which turned out to be excessive and avoidable. Not only that, they shaved part of my Pomeranian’s leg for the IV without asking or explaining the potential risks for the breed, like alopecia — a detail any good vet should know and disclose. The front desk staff was dismissive, unhelpful, and even passive-aggressive when I called to ask for clarification. I didn’t feel like they cared about my dog — only about padding the bill. While the veterinarian themselves wasn’t the worst part of the experience, the disorganization and lack of transparency were extremely disappointing. What should have taken an hour stretched into an entire afternoon filled with unnecessary stress.I want to believe vets are there to help us make the best decisions for our pets, not take advantage of us when we’re at our most vulnerable. Sadly, that’s not what I felt here.
June 20 · Vic SchiavoLuna has been a patient here since she was a puppy… she’s 7 now. The office staff and Drs are absolutely great. There’s no waiting for appointments, 24 hour turnaround time for refills. The Dr is very attentive to our needs. I wouldn’t take my baby anywhere else.I highly recommend Rancho Regional Veterinary Hospital.
