I'm so glad I found Rocky Creek Veterinary Hospital. They took such good care of my dog Solo. The staff is friendly and caring and I was able to get an appointment quickly and got test results quickly as well. It's nice they also have a pet resort.

They have great events during the year for the dogs. Lots of picture taking opportunities during holidays . The only that could make it better would be to have a camera to watch the dogs play. That would be so cute. Below is a picture of her on days after camp.

Jun 16, 2025 · Melody HartinWouldn’t recommend this vet to anyone. The 3-4 years we brought our pets here were less than satisfactory. The staff were rude more often than not and the services are extremely expensive. They refuse to send any prescriptions into Chewy for you - you have to stop by to pick up a paper copy and MAIL it to Chewy, presumably to discourage you from using them. I received a 50 day supply of a med from Chewy for $18.67, but because it took almost 2 weeks for them to receive the rx through snail mail, I had to turn to Rocky Creek for a 7-day supply, which ended up being over $25 (we were initially quoted around that price for a 30 day supply from them before they realized we would instead use Chewy). They are money hungry and I don’t feel they truly care for your pets. We had a very senior dog who needed to be seen often. She had very bad arthritis, was becoming incontinent, and just seemed uncomfortable overall. Every time we took her in to see what we could do for her, Dr. Powers just basically said ‘It is what it is’. It wasn’t until she was seen by Dr. Hayes that we were told she was not at all comfortable and it was well beyond time to put her down. Sure, that was a hard conversation, but we should have been told that a while ago! We recently took one of our cats in and he was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, but we were provided very little information about it, just given an rx. When we would call to ask questions, we would leave a voicemail and would have to call back 2-3 times before we could get any answers. And even then, the techs would be extremely short and snippy and act like we were wasting their time. We have recently switched to a different vet in the area and the difference has been night and day. Hate we wasted so much time and money with this place.

We did a bit of research and discovered it was the only vet clinic in the area with nearly a 5-star rating on Google. We've been visiting since May 2023 and have absolutely loved every experience! As new pet parents, we often have tons of questions, but we never feel judged here. Last month, we faced a medical emergency, and after an initial overnight stay at another location, Rocky Creek welcomed our boy for the day and nursed him back to health. They then sent us home with all we needed for his continued recovery. They even called me a few days later to check in on how he was doing and gave me more tips to help him get better. I had so many questions, and our tech had most of the answers. She even went back to ask the doctor about the ones she wasn't sure of and called me back to calm my nerves. I can't thank them enough for all the support we've received during the last two years!
