Thank you so much Stone Ridge Veterinary Hospital for wasting so much of my parent's time & money!Tiny, my parent's cane corso started visiting your office shortly after we brought him home in September of 2023. Since then, he has had multiple health issues. When his elbows continuously kept swelling with fluid for weeks, you couldn't figure out why but to keep draining them. When I had to rush him to the ER because he wasn't moving, was lethargic, and his front legs were so SWOLLEN that he couldn't get up. At Stoney Pointe Animal Health Centre, it took less than 24 hours to figure out what was wrong. It was cellulitis. His elbows have not swelled since. Cellulitis is dangerous for dogs when not treated, but you just wanted to keep draining them despite the "tests" you claim were done, but still had NO answer to what it could be.My parents trusted your office because all three dogs prior were healthy and passed due to age. There was never a concern.Despite all of the "tests" you have done, including blood draws, panels, ultrasounds, etc somehow you missed that Tiny has GI lymphoma. He has been throwing up every meal for the majority of his life, but somehow you missed this.My mom stayed for a few small reasons. Tiny loved his doctor despite being smaller & weighing less than him, thevet techs always showed so much excitement & love for Tiny when he walked in the door. It was close to home, which made it easier for her to get Tiny help as she needed eye surgery before. How this was missed, is beyond me. Tiny had an ultrasound on Monday. It is now Thursday and we have results. Results that never came from your office, despite seeing him since fall of 2023.Pet care is far from cheap, and clearly, you saw that my parents cared about their dogs enough to want to figure out what was wrong. Thrive Pet Healthcare saw dollar signs, meanwhile, my parents saw their puppy never get better. Which is ultimately why my mother switched Tiny to a vet that saw a sick dog and actually cared to figure out what was wrong.Do not go to this office. Do not go to any office that has been taken over by Thrive or even affiliated with them. You owe my parents their money back, but even more, you owe them a damn apology. For now, we are going to make these the happiest & most comfortable next few months for our Tiny as his cancer progresses. There is no cure for it as the life expectancy and chance of it coming back is not good. - Brittany Frank
