Since 1982, this practice has been committed to exceeding standard expectations, proudly earning accreditation from the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA)—an honor held by only about 15% of veterinary hospitals in North America. Their philosophy is centered on ensuring a calm, stress-free visit for every patient, promoting pain relief so that pets never suffer in silence, and being an advocate for enriching the environment of the animals in their care. The deeply caring nature of the staff is clearly evident in their client testimonials, particularly when dealing with sensitive issues like end-of-life care, where they are praised for their "love, compassion and honest answers" and for "opening up space to help me take care of her final moments."
The clinic’s comprehensive services span all life stages and types of pets—from routine **Preventative Medicine** for young dogs and **For Cats**, to specialized **Geriatric Care** and treatment for unique pets, including **Exotic Animals** and **Pocket Pets**. Their emphasis on advanced, collaborative medicine and low-stress techniques ensures your pet receives the most positive and effective experience possible during every visit.
The Pet Clinic is centrally located in Omaha, making it a convenient choice for pet owners throughout the metro area. Its position ensures easy access for scheduled wellness visits, urgent medical appointments, and surgical procedures.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- We have gone to the pet clinic for quite a long time. We just had to make the hard decision to put our 15 year old cat down. We appreciate the love, compassion and honest answers we received. Special shout out to Dr. Buete, Dr. Hannah and Dr. Michael for helping us. August 16 · Jill Foster
- My cat Gigi and I have been through a lot at the Pet Clinic, from being diagnosed with diabetes, to various other vet visits. Had to leave for a vet closer to town, but circumstances had me back in Omaha scrambling for a vet visit as Gigi declined rapidly. The Pet Clinic opened up space to help me take care of her final moments and will be forever grateful for the card, and everything they did when she passed. Couldn’t recommend a better pet clinic around. Staff is understanding, patient, and caring and I will be furever thankful. ❤️ April 21 · Emily Cook
- LOVE all the Doctors here! Specifically Dr. Hanna and Dr. Osterholm. Dr. Hanna has been seeing my border collie, Chester since he was a baby, he is 7 years old now. He’s had his share of health issues, so we have seen almost every Dr in the clinic. They took his epilepsy seriously right from the beginning because of his breed. We had a scare with leukemia, the dr who found the potential walked me through every possible scenario and all of our options over the phone with me while I was sobbing.Dr. Osterholm has been taking care of Haylee, my GSP since she was a baby 5 years ago. Dr. Hanna made room for Haylee to come in as an emergency during Covid when she experienced an injury to her neck. Haylee has been very healthy, but because she is a hunting dog, she has gotten injured and needed immediate care to which they were very accommodating when she needed to get a large gash stitched up. She spent all of Saturday afternoon at the clinic waiting for her turn, but I trust all of the staff whole heartedly to take care of her all day, and am so grateful they got her in on such short notice. Dr. Mark helped us with Haylee when we noticed she wasn’t acting herself, and we were able to catch fluid in her uterus before it became an infection and turned to pyometra. He was very kind while I was (again) sobbing about my dog being sick (I was very pregnant when this happened). With this discovery, Haylee was booked for a spay 2 days later. When I came to pick her up, I was told she spent almost the whole post-op/recovery hanging out with staff members, getting love and attention (on her terms of course because she can be a diva).I cannot recommend The Pet Clinic enough! Like I’ve said already, their staff are very passionate, knowledgeable, and so caring not only for the pets, but the owners as well! They are the reason I drive from Fremont to have my animals cared for! Thank you TPC staff for always being welcoming, and loving my pets just as much as I do! May 13 · Kodee Bieker
- Very relaxing, not a pet mill where you are seen as a stack of cash but a pet parent with concerns thus the visit. DR -Vet was awesome and all there were. Hoping our pet gets sick again so we can go back!!! 😀 July 09 · Bob GREEN
