★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- I was visiting from out of state with my cat when my cat started showing signs of respiratory problems. As soon as I called and explained my situation to Samantha, a true angel, they took care of me. They went beyond the call of duty. I had no transportation but my cat needed help. They made sure I made it to them and they made me feel so taken care of as they understood the importance of my fur baby. I will NEVER forget how helpful and caring they were. Thank you all at the clinic. July 16 · Silvana Alvarado
- Wasn't able to get into my normal Vet and they got me in quick. I was extremely happy with the Care my fur baby was given. Would definitely recommend. August 26 · Holly Robbins
- Dr. Shuey is a very nice person and seems to be a considerate veterinarian. Her office is clean and well-maintained, which is a plus. So, why the one-star review? The issue stems from some of her staff. I have never been to any type of doctor's office where the staff will not let you speak to the doctor. Her vet tech, Angel, is extremely hostile when you ask him a question. It's unclear who is in charge, the veterinarian or the vet tech. I don't think people go to a vet to speak to the technician. The other vet tech, "Becca," is awesome and should be the only one interacting with customers. The person at the counter who greets you should not be in customer service. She, too, will not let you speak to the doctor, and do not just show up with an issue because they are not able to help if you are a walk-in client without a scheduled appointment. Overall, Dr. Shuey is a nice person, but good luck getting past her staff to engage with her. June 28 · Brandon Malloy
- Had to take my senior boy in tonight to journey to the rainbow bridge. The staff were so kind and didn’t try to rush our process. They treated me boy with so much deserved kindness and when he went, he went so extremely peacefully. I can’t say I’ve had that experience at any other vets I’ve visited. Thank you to the doctor and kind vet techs and that you to the receptionist who had so much compassion. SoGnar I’m sure thanks you as well for giving him a smooth and painless transition. ❤️🩹 May 15 · BlaisdellFamYT
- Doc was and is amazing caring person and friendly and welcoming to every walk of life. Since his retirement and Doctor Shuey took over things were good until 3/24/25. My dog was sick Doctor Shuey wasn't in the office. The reception area people 2 a male and female went ahead and started a bill for me and bring her in the morning 3/25 my dogs situation was getting worse weakness and just bad with pooping blood and vomiting we went to Blackwell vet immediately they got testing going and IVs and she stayed overnight. The girl called me from Tonkawa vet asked if we were coming in I explained no she's at Blackwell on IV and stayed overnight. Few minutes later she called again and in basic keeping it short and sweet told me she was sending all files from vet Tonkawa vet office to my emails since transferring to Blackwell. ALL OF THIS BECAUSE SHE WAS SO RUDE AND I SAID HOW RUDE SHE WAS WALKING OUT. MY DOG WAS NOT DOING GOOD OF COURSE IM GETTING HER HELP. RUDE AND MAKING ASSUMPTIONS FOR BILL XRAY, THIS THAT THE OTHER AND QUOTED 395.00. Sadly we didn't see Doctor Shuey she was gone for the day and then got ran off from our 25 plus years family vet office. Sad instead of being mad and doing as this girl didn't she should of been open minded to see why were saying she's so rude but no instead costed me my vet office. She was rude my dog needed immediate help I did what i had to and Sativa being 13 may not of lived until next day. The saddest thing Doctor Shueys lost 2 folks that I spoke to personally as clients. Customer service especially in a office setting like that you must have a heart. A simple she's not in today you might try ponca or Blackwell vets no we got quoted a bill of 395.00 and in records today a different price. I pray Doctor Shuey doesn't loose more clients I absolutely love her help with my animals but I guess no more. Her lady receptionist honest should not be there. Myself 2 other former clients said similar things about the same lady.I'd work there volunteering to help that girl learn common courtesy. My dog is like my kid help don't create a bill and send me away for a morning appointment my dog may not of made it. THANK YOU BLACKWELL VET TO GETTING MY GIRL SEEN AND BETTER.Doesn't hurt say try another vet she needs immediate attention I'm sorry doctor Shuey isnt in. March 25 · Suzie Langley
