Blackwood Animal Hospital Reviews
October 17th 2024 was the last day Benny was with us. The nurses and doctor were so kind. They didn't rush us. They gave my dad as long as he needed to say goodbye to his best friend of 19 years. Even when he broke the chair from comforting his best friend, they didn't judge. I don't know her name but she was so sweet. She gave all of us hugs after Benny had finally passed. They gave us a bag and a blanket to wrap him in. He wasn't in pain and he passed peacefully surrounded by people who loved him. They gave us a card with Bennys paw print in it.Thank you for making the goodbye process easier.
Dec 13, 2024 · ConundrumI’ve been going to Blackwood Animal Hospital for many years over 30 years when they were on the Blackhorse Pike. They’ve been slowly going downhill and they have lack of compassion and empathy and they’re more like sales people. I took my little boy little Ricky. There seemed like he had allergies, but I also said it seems like his mouth was sore, but she insisted on doing something to his eye. This is Dr. Concerta and she stood back and threw an eyedrop in his eye And then sending him home with medicine didn’t even look in his mouth. It was $313 and she didn’t even look in his mouth that was my main complaint. She acted like I was an idiot lol I know who the idiot is and she’s cold and heartless. I went to university of Penn January. They knew exactly what it was right away and my little Ricky died on February 7 he had an oral cancer. 💔
May 15, 2025 · April WidmannHands down worst animal hospital we have ever dealt with. They missed multiple serious issues with our cat and essentially killed our dog years ago so I guess it is our fault for even returning. If you care about your animal beware of this place.
May 10, 2025 · Angelo ContiI have been coming here for over 35 years first as a pet owner and then with my Shih Tzu babies. I am so heart sick over the loss of Dr Joe, but you would think that you would like to retain his clients as well. I am moving on and hoping to find another office that is patient oriented like it was with Dr Joe. Dr Euler was also my pets Doctor and I have never been able to schedule anything since DrJoe left.
Feb 15, 2022 · Jujubee Shih TzuI had such a wonderful experience with Blackwood Animal Hospital. My dog needed several teeth extracted and Bruce was so amazing and helpful throughout the entire process. My dog already seems to be feeling a lot better only 3 days post op. I cannot recommend this practice more if you want people who truly care for your pet and are fairly priced as well. 100% recommend and appreciate them so much!!
