Value Vet Reviews
This place is a big rip off! We had a surprise bill of $500 for wellness visit for 2 puppies. They just do things and keep adding to your bill without even telling you! For over 20 years having dogs and going to vets it was the most expensive visit we had. They charged $40 for cleaning ears without telling us what they are doing. Even though I told them I cleaned their ears a few hours ago. Vaccines and tests cost double than at other vet clinics. When I booked an appointment. When I booked an appointment they told me one price, after the visit they just had us.They do not care about your pet. We asked for the prescription of dewormer for puppies, they refused to give it, only if we buy from them. They refused to give a prescription for ear infection medication. Only if we buy it from them. This place is a scam! I feel cheated and after paying $500 I need to go to another vet to get puppies proper medication.
Dec 31, 2024 · Yana YI wish I could give zero stars, but unfortunately, that’s not an option. Took my friend’s perfectly healthy one-year-old cat in for a routine neuter, expecting him to come home the same day. Instead, we got a call no pet owner ever wants to receive. Somehow, during this ‘standard procedure,’ he didn’t make it. No real explanation, just vague apologies and a weak ‘these things happen sometimes.’I’m sure this clinic has had successes, but if you value your pet’s life, I’d strongly reconsider bringing them here. It must be nice to brush off a preventable tragedy as a minor complication. Thank you for turning a simple procedure into a nightmare.
Mar 27, 2025 · Samara RascoeValue vet is great!!! We have three dogs and two cats so we find ourselves at the vet quite often. Over the last couple years it seemed like I could never escape our local vet with spending $500, no matter what what going on. We moved over to Value Vet about a year ago, we have been very happy with both the McLean and Falls Church locations.
Oct 09, 2023 · Miranda VeseyTwice I have made an appointment only to have the office be closed I got there. The first time I assumed it was because I used the online portal to make the appointment. I made sure to talk to a person the next time. I am assuming the Falls Church location is closed. Someone should tell the company. Go somewhere where they care about their clients.
Feb 26, 2025 · Maggi AitkenGreat service and pet handling. My dog is afraid of vets due to bad treatments and she was very calm due annual check. Value pet took great care of her. Going back for dental cleaning.
