McLean Animal Hospital Reviews
I have been going to McLean Animal Hospital for 64 years for many reasons. Their compassion and skill continue to be amazing. This was my first time meeting Dr. Tucker who prescribed precisely what my 14 year old dear dog needed. This morning the dog wanted to walk the full away around the block for the first time in awhile and her tail is wagging happily again because her pain seems to be completely resolved with the medications. Dr. Tucker I am so grateful for your help; and, obviously, you know what you are doing. Thank you!
Jun 19, 2025 · Sharon HWe had a very frustrating experience with McLean Animal Hospital. It took multiple phone calls just to get an appointment, and we were required to pay $204.00 over the phone in advance just for a first visit, I paid $204.00 over the phone to get an appointment. Something that I had never seen/heard before. Our cat was diagnosed with an ear polyp, and we were told by VET, surgery would be needed and they said we’d get a quote for the procedure within a day or two, contacted several times, requested next steps, but we never heard back. No follow-up, no estimate, nothing. Really disappointed in the lack of communication and professionalism.***** So, we moved our pets to nearby another Hospital.Stuffs/Doctors are really professional/friendly and care for their patients. No surgery needed for my pet, my pet is doing great. We are happy with new hospital.
Jun 19, 2025 · Shaheed MohammedWe've been coming here for years with our dogs. Recently had to put our 16-year-old pet down. Over the years. I've had to experience this a number of times. The staff at the hospital helped us through this process in a way that was the most compassionate and caring as we've ever seen. They always know our pets by name. Our dogs don't have the normal fear of the vet because of the care they get here at Mclean Animal Hospital. We are very happy with the services, the hours, and especially how great the staff is.
Mar 12, 2025 · Judilynn Z. NiedercornMcLean Animal Hospital was recommended after we had a few terrible experiences at cat-only vet practices. I am so incredibly grateful for the kind and gentle vets here. Dr. Hodgdon has provided my sweet 13 yr old kitty with superb care. She is thorough and spends so much time following up via phone. Today we saw Dr. Clark and he was so caring and went over my cat’s treatment history in great detail. The vet techs are compassionate and gentle and know how to deal with anxious pets. Treatment processes are very transparent and the front desk personnel are so helpful. They go out of their way for their clients.
Mar 08, 2025 · Hiba MooneyFound a baby robin during my walk. No one would take the bird in. McLean Animal Hospital immediately accepted it, fed, and found a rehabber. These people are amazing and I will be taking my dog over to them moving forward.
