We were not happy with the guidance given by the dr. After getting a 3rd opinion theirs being the second we realized we should have put our dog down instead of spending thousands of dollars for an overnight stay that included minimal testing. The first that we saw before here and the one we saw after were more straightforward about what we should do. They were not. We also felt we were given a sense of hope that we should not have been given. They also charged us for drugs like antibiotics they just started administering and would not let us to take the remaining antibiotics with us when we wanted to go directly to the other vets office. - Paul Gallagher

VCA Animal Emergency Critical Care Introduce

As pet owners in Virginia, we understand that emergencies can happen at any time, often without warning. When our beloved furry, scaled, or feathered family members face a sudden illness or injury, knowing where to turn for immediate and expert care is paramount. VCA Animal Emergency Critical Care in Leesburg, VA, stands as a dedicated facility for these crucial moments, offering specialized emergency and critical care services for pets when they need it most.

It's important for local pet parents to understand the nature of emergency veterinary care. Unlike a regular veterinary clinic that handles routine check-ups and ongoing care, an emergency and critical care facility like VCA is equipped for sudden, severe, and complex cases. Navigating a pet emergency can be a deeply stressful experience. Having a facility that is open 24/7, with a team focused solely on critical cases, offers immense reassurance. While experiences can vary, the core purpose of an emergency clinic is to be there during dire times, providing specialized equipment and expertise that may not be available in a general practice setting. It is always wise for pet owners in Virginia to know the location and contact information of such a facility, just in case the unexpected occurs.

In the following sections, we will detail the critical services offered by VCA Animal Emergency Critical Care, discuss its accessibility, highlight its key features, and provide essential contact information.
