★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I am very grateful for the staff here. My dog, Millie is a very reactive and high anxiety rescue pup. At previous vets we were required to give her sedatives and muzzle her. Vet techs (Lisa!) went out of there way to do happy visits with Millie to get to know her before her wellness visit, then, for the visit itself, her and Dr. Adam’s came outside, sat in the parking lot and did the exam there because Millie was not able/ willing to go inside yet. No muzzle and no trazadone needed, they even got to look at here teeth which our previous vet never did. They did her vaccines while feeding her cheese and Lisa has even gotten a few kisses from Millie, so she is officially in the club ;) I so greatly appreciate the accommodations for dogs like my Millie girl, it makes vet visits so much less traumatic for all of us :)
September 22 · Samantha KlimWow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. The staff should take a bow.Get it?Bow wow wow…Anyway… This place is amazing!!I have never encountered a veterinary office where EVERY single person was super warm, kind, understanding, knowledgeable, and genuine animal lovers. I would absolutely highly recommend. My experience:I received a coupon for a free initial basic exam so I called in to schedule an appt. I think I called on Monday and they had me scheduled by Wednesday. Monday afternoon they called to verify some information to get my dogs records sent over.. Tuesday confirmed the apt by phone. Wednesday my dog and I found our forever vet.I walked in the door, weighed my dog and was promptly shown to an exam room. Before I had even filled out the authorization paperwork, the nicest vet tech came in. My dog loved her! She got right down on the floor and sat with him.. he LOvED it. The vet came in and did the same thing. There is nothing pretentious about the staff here. It’s simply refreshing, and I’m just so impressed! The love they have for animals is so apparent. The vet knew one of the dogs in the waiting room by its bark!I can’t speak to technical skills of the veterinarian, Ericka, because we just went in for a basic exam, but I would trust her wholeheartedly to care for my dog.Again, I would highly recommend. They also have separate entrances for cats and dogs.
August 15 · AmandaDr. Adams and her staff are incredible. They are compassionate, personal and reliable. Our pup has had several emergencies and the staff has worked hard to get him seen day of. We've also have congenital issues with our dog and Dr. Adams provides information an a way that's easy to understand, while also providing options for our pet. She makes our timid dog feel comfortable during his visits. I can't recommend Dr. Adams enough.
February 15 · Lauren PurkeyDOCTORS WITHOUT HEART!!!! I had emergency....my little baby-cutie played with fabric and thread nearly cut her tongue...it stuck in tissue! Poor girl...she was screaming from pain...blood is steaming out of her tongue! I called doctors - HELP! PLEASE save my cutie...take out tread!...they said: we are saving only cats or dogs, bye!!!! I tried to say...is it matters for DOCTOR? All creatures, including humans have tongue....is it so hard to take thread away? No...they said...NO! Only cat or dog! Can doctor...or just human with heart say this????? Let poor little girl to die from pain and bleeding...I was expected, if they will say: ...yes, we working with dogs or cats...but still bring her and we shall see, what we can do to help. No, they said...its not our profile...bye! Sad, that humans, especially, doctors can be so cruel....Look at picture...she is dead now...still warm and still bleeding....
June 22 · Irina VolodovskyWe got a new puppy from the humane society and she's happened to have kennel cough and several rounds of giardia over the first five weeks. I feel so lucky that we found VCA and even luckier that they are super close.Literally every person we've interacted with at this VCA location has been incredible. The staff are friendly, organized, and proactive and our dog is in LOVE with the vets and techs. As both busy humans and concerned puppy parents, we couldn't be happier. If I had to summarize the entire experience in a word: caring. We opted for their annual plan and have also found the 24 hour chat to be helpful on several occasions. The chat may be less required for experienced dog owners who know the answers to basic "what do I do if..." type questions.
