VCA St. Mary's Animal Hospital Reviews
We had SUCH an amazing experience here. We adopted a sick kitty from a shelter and they saw+treated her so quickly. Everyone we've seen and spoken to here are lovely and incredibly knowledgeable, our Whiskers was treated like family the second she came in the door! Definitely taking our other animals here from now on too from having such great experiences.
Feb 23, 2025 · AllieLet’s be real no one loves coming to the vet with their animal, but I really do love the staff and doctors at VCA. They are friendly from the moment you walk in the door. They greet you and when you go back to the exam rooms, the techs are kind and really pay attention to your concerns. When the vet comes in she is polite, professional, and shows she wants to assist with your pet’s ailment(s). Their billing is always upfront, clear and they never pressure you into making rash decisions or paying for something that isn’t needed. When I leave always feel like I have been heard, questions answered and I have a better understanding of how to treat my pets.
Mar 07, 2025 · Joy RiveraVery compassionate and caring facility. My 15 1/2 year old dog was in serious distress. His usual vet was not available. I had never been to VCA St. Mary's before but went to them as this was an emergency. They brought us in a saw us immediately and examined him. Unfortunately nothing could be done but he was treated with love and caring. I could not have asked for better or more caring service. About a week later I received a sympathy card with messages from everyone on the staff. Such kind caring people. You won't find a better place to bring your pet. I highly recommend them. If we get another dog, VCA St. Mary's will be our vet.
Jun 27, 2025 · Ed DI'm a fan of VCA St. Mary's! We've had two senior dogs under their care and every time we've been in for appointments they've been kind, attentive, compassionate, and informative. The facility is clean and I love how after every appointment they reach out the next day to see how our dog is doing. Based on the experiences we've had, I would recommend them.
Feb 06, 2025 · Stephanie VI’m destroyed……totally. We brought our 5 month old German shepherd puppy in for a standard neutering on Tuesday Aug 6, 2024, Saturday he was-dead! We noticed that he wasn’t feeling well and we call VCA and VCA saw him Saturday morning, but Sarge was sent up the road for “support “. The vet there seemed to think that Sarge has aspirated while under anesthesia, this caused him to get broccoli ammonia. The ammonia caused septic fluid to build up outside his lungs. She recommended that we put him down to stop his suffering. I have been crying ever since! Now I know every surgery has its risks, we rolled the dice and this freakish thing happened, but here’s the kicker…….Sarge had the puppy package. When my husband drove by Monday morning to inform VCA what had happened to our beloved baby, he was told that we are still required to paid the remaining $1100 on his puppy package. My darling dog NO LONGER WALKS THIS EARTH and he died due to the surgery that they performed on him!!He was a perfectly healthy dog when we dropped him off on Tuesday. You’ll never understand the regret I feel for having EVER entrusted my baby to you!! Sarge was just a baby and I will miss him forever.
