VCA White Oak Animal Hospital Reviews
I decided to try White Oak Animal Hospital after not being happy at a vet downtown that rhymes with PittleLage…and I’m so glad I did. Compassionate staff from the receptionists to the nurses to Dr. Bell. Very straightforward with no overcharging, they were efficient, estimates were provided before performing service, and no pushing for unnecessary tests/services. After comparing, White Oak was around 1/3 of the price for the same services provided by my previous vet, who I also caught twice charging me for services they didn’t perform (in this economy???). The compassion and caring nature alone is worth it for me to continue going here; their reasonable prices is just a bonus. My dog is already feeling so much better. Highly recommend!
Feb 13, 2025 · Ashleigh BensonThe nurses and doctors here were exceptional. Following testing and exam of my snall Yorky, the doctor explained that initial results looked good and she would be calling me next day with lab results. She gave me medicine for my dog. The next day, the doctor called me to inform me of lab test and that they were looking good and asked how my little Yorky was doing with the medicine. I have to say this was an excellant Animal Hospital with great doctors and nurses. Highly recommend for your pets.
Apr 28, 2025 · Bernard YocumOur puppy, Hank Williams Jr, is mid way through training at Whit Oak's training and play facility and goes other days for play. The staff and the facility are great. Hank loves it, and we are very pleased.
Jun 13, 2025 · Lee HaltermanI was hesitant to try this place after a bad experience with another exotic vet in Fredericksburg. But I am very glad I took a chance. My bunny was seen and still when she looked a mess. The dr and staff showed such compassion and care. The Dr also not only gave me the meds. He also showed me how to give it and gave her the first set of meds before I left. And when I went to pay…my heart raced as I am an avid animal lover and work three jobs just to care and love mine. I was shocked as I really thought it would be at least $300 like the other vet place in Fredericksburg . When they told me the bill I was very grateful. This place seems honest and hold integrity high from what I can tell. Thank you for making my day and loving on my baby
Mar 25, 2025 · Emerald BeeI wanted to say I love this place! I've always heard great things about this animal hospital. The people are full of compassion, empathetic, and full of professionalism!Recently, my husband and I brought in our 3yr old Bostie "Houston". He was limping on his back leg, then next day he couldn't walk on both back legs. This terrified us. We were lucky to be seen thanks to Amanda and Lauren. We were greeted with a smile when we arrived! Dr Branson saw Houston. She was friendly and extremely thorough. She took Houston for bloodwork and xrays. She told us what it could be. He was given medicine to ease the pain. We hoped for the best. On the 2nd day at home, he was running around like nothing ever happened! Guess it was a pulled muscle. We are so grateful for these wonderful people!!! Thank you for everything!!!!
